Now then, as there is always two sides to the coin, there is of course the other side—the perversion of the Mother aspect. And that perversion has come through science and the philosophy of natural selection, and the philosophy that everything in life is an outpicturing of the struggle for limited resources, thereby causing some to be more fit than others. And again, this has been used by those among the power elite, those among the forces of anti-christ who would not accept and would not submit to the authority of the Catholic Church. For they were the aspiring power elite who wanted to take power away from the established power elite, who had been in an alliance, an unholy alliance, with the Catholic Church for centuries.

The aspiring power elite saw that the emerging philosophy of materialism, especially boosted by the theory of evolution, was their vehicle for setting themselves up as the unquestioned rulers of this world, through their philosophy that there is nothing beyond this world. And that, again, elitism and the fact that some people are rich and that many people are poor is simply an outpicturing of the laws of nature, where those who are more fit have a right to rule, have a right to take unto themselves privileges, such as abundance, and keep the majority of the population in poverty.

Not only is this a complete fabrication, it is actually a perversion of the reality and the laws of nature. For if you were to carefully analyze history on this planet, even by using the knowledge that has already been brought forth through science itself – including the science of physics and the science of biology – if you were to perform such an analysis and read between the lines – look beyond the official doctrines of science, and refuse to listen to the priesthood of science – well, then you would find that the theory of evolution is based on an utterly and completely false premise.

First of all, it is based on the consciousness of lack, the concept that this is a planet with limited resources. This is, as I have spoken about before, a complete lie. For the only real resource is the knowledge of people in embodiment, combined with the will to let God’s light flow through them, thereby bringing forth more abundance than is in existence today. The will to become MORE.

It is not true that this planet has limited resources. For as Jesus said, with men this is impossible—meaning that when you are in the human consciousness and you deny the power of God within you, well, then this planet does have limited resources. For it is not possible to bring forth greater resources through the power and the wisdom of man. And thus, those who have become completely identified with the consciousness of anti-christ and their identity of separation, well, they are indeed cut off from that power. So to them it seems as if this planet has limited resources.

But, of course, the reality is that when you exercise the potential, that all people have, to find the kingdom of God within you, well, then it is possible to increase the amount of abundance on this planet. And in fact this is, despite what science says currently, precisely the force that is driving evolution on a planetary historical scale. As Maitreya explains in his book, the drive to be more, the drive to grow that is built into life—this is what causes species and the entire planet to transcend itself and come to higher and higher levels, greater and greater levels of complexity. And more complex life forms, of course, being an expression of abundance.

So you see, historically, that if it had only been the consciousness of lack and the competition for limited resources, well, then this planet would not have been in an upward evolutionary spiral. It would have been in a downward evolutionary spiral and would long ago have disintegrated under the weight of that spiral. The reality is, that it is indeed possible to bring forth greater and greater resources, thereby overcoming poverty and giving the abundant life to all people. This is perfectly possible within the laws of nature. Yet, what has been programmed into the collective consciousness through the philosophy of science and materialism is precisely that this is not possible, causing millions if not billions of people around the world to accept that this is simply their lot in life, and there is nothing they can do about it. For after all, resources are limited, so how could all people be rich? How could all people have a certain standard of living?

When you look at the history of Europe, you see the cradle of a number of ideas that have been used around the world to pacify and suppress the people. First and foremost, of course, in the religious arena, as I have explained. But then see what happened when the religious domination of the Catholic Church began to crumble and the people began to say, “We have had enough. We want to have our freedom to think. We want to have our freedom to look at the reality of the physical octave and what it tells us, instead of being fed these infallible doctrines that truly are out of touch with reality.”

It was an incredible expansion of the mindset of Europe, when it began to be generally known that the earth was not flat and that it was not the center of a very small universe. But that it indeed revolved around the sun and that the sun was the center of the solar system. What you had before that time was a mindset, where the general culture and world view of the population was almost completely out of touch with reality, divine reality.

What you had seen in the preceding centuries was that the leaders of the Catholic Church had created a world view that was entirely man-made. So they had made the Word of God of no effect in their tradition (Mark 7:13). They had indeed created a world view that was so removed from the reality of God, that there was hardly any reality left. And you can see this clearly by the fact that the Catholic Church promoted the idea that the earth, this little planet, was the center of the entire universe—although certainly they believed the universe was much smaller than today.

Can you see, that when it first became apparent to people – and greater numbers of people, namely the top 10 percent – that it was possible to make an observation through a simple telescope – and see that the movements in the heavens did not correspond to the doctrine that the earth was the center of the universe – that this was an incredible expansion of the mindset of Europe? For certainly, then it once again connected to the fact that there is a reality beyond man-made ideas and beliefs.

This was indeed the very central element of the bringing forth of the Renaissance and the many new ideas and inventions that sprung up in Europe. But of course, as always happens, it was not only true ideas that were promoted. For it is inevitable that when there is an expansion of creativity, there will be both true and untrue ideas. So you did see several ideologies that were brought forth here in Europe, such as Karl Marx and Marxism and Darwin and the theory of evolution.

Now, I must tell you that there are some elements of truth even in these ideologies. They are not completely lies. There is indeed a reality to the fact that a country cannot bring forth a just society while allowing those who are the most aggressive people to attain whatever power they can take through force. And therefore, there must be some way to stop this. But of course, it is not the socialist way, where the state owns and controls everything. It is the spiritual way, where the people are awakened, so that they are subject neither to the privately owned companies nor to the state. And that is why communism is not a solution to the problem of the power elite, for it gives the power elite a perfect vehicle through which to attain and maintain power, namely the state itself.

Capitalism and communism form a dualistic polarity that both work towards the same goal, namely a society with centralized control. Either you have a society controlled by the state, as in the communist countries, or you have a society that is controlled by one company that has eventually absorbed all of the other companies and therefore in effect has become the state. Or you can have what you had in Catholic Europe, where you had a society that was controlled by the religious authority which had taken over all areas of society.

It should be possible for you to see, that Europe is indeed an interesting continent, where so many of the ideas that have shaped the world have been born. And therefore, again, as Saint Germain has said, there is an incredible potential on this continent of people rising up and saying, “Enough is enough! We want something more. We want something better.”

And that is indeed already beginning to happen, as it is beginning to happen in other areas of the world. And it can and will – by the grace of God and the willingness of the top 10 percent of the most spiritually aware people – become an unstoppable movement, that will sweep away the old mindset, the old ideas, and bring forth precisely what Saint Germain talked about, when he said that we need a universal spiritual awakening so that we can overcome the ideology of materialism that denies your spirituality. For it is only through spirituality that the world can be righted and set on the right course.

How both religion and science pacifies people

What I would like to expound upon now is the transition from the Catholic domination of Europe to the current domination by science and the scientific mindset. During the Catholic era, people were presented or viewed as sinners. They were as nothing. They had no inbuilt, inherent divinity. For there was divinity in only one man—Jesus Christ. This of course, is a continuation of the Roman Empire, where they saw that there was divinity in only one man—the Emperor. And thus, after Christianity became the Roman state religion, I became the substitute for the Emperor, the symbol that there can only be one man on earth who has divinity, whereas all the people are below him and fundamentally different from him. You now had a self image among the people that they were nothing, that they were sinners by their mere existence.

As I have said, the scientific revolution did indeed start a process that was highly beneficial in expanding people’s mindset and making them see beyond the traditional view of themselves and the world. Yet, what happened was the same thing that happened to Christianity. After just a few centuries, the power elite began to use science in their eternal quest to suppress the people. You will see that many of the early scientists, including Darwin himself, were indeed religious people and did not believe there was any inherent conflict between science and religion—and that indeed science would simply work within a world view that accounted for the existence of a supreme being and a reality that was beyond human manipulation.

Indeed, many of the early scientists were driven precisely by an understanding of how the Catholic Church had created an entirely false view that was out of touch with reality. And their desire was to use science to bring back some reality in the world view of the people, realizing however that there was certain limitations to what science could discover. For truly, Galileo and others realized that they would never be able to see God through a telescope because God was not located above the sky, as was believed in the old world view.

In the beginning, science was a beneficial movement, expanding the mindset of the people. But then it very gradually turned into a materialistic philosophy instead of a spiritual philosophy. What happened in that process was that now the people were no longer portrayed as worthless sinners, but they were portrayed as only slightly more highly evolved than the monkeys, and therefore as nothing more than animals that had come into being entirely by chance.

Do you see, that whether you consider yourself a worthless sinner or whether you consider yourself an animal—it really is not progress, is it? So the reality is that science has not freed the people’s minds and given them a higher or a more realistic world view. Science has indeed become just another tool in the almost endless string of tools used by the power elite to suppress and pacify the people. So that they can continue to dominate society and attain extraordinary privileges for themselves, while the general population toil and work to support the lifestyle of the elite.

This does not mean that you are always speaking the way I am speaking now. The Living Christ can speak in many different ways and can be soft and gentle. But I am speaking sternly now because I am speaking into the mass consciousness of this European continent. And I tell you, that consciousness is so dense that unless my words are piercing, they would have no chance of penetrating that consciousness.

This death consciousness has been hanging over this continent for so long, that it has become so solidified in certain areas that it is almost impenetrable by anything. Yet nothing is impossible to God. And certainly, nothing is impossible to the Living Christ who knows he is not the doer but it is the Father doing the works through him. And thus, I take this opportunity to speak the words that can penetrate this density of consciousness, the death consciousness, the mechanical consciousness of thinking that there is a mechanical path to God.

Whether it be the path presented by the Catholic Church and the Christian churches or the path presented by science—which really is no path but simply says that everything is the result of a game of chance. But how is it possible that science discovers still deeper and deeper layers of order and organization, yet they claim that all this order came out of a completely random process? This is so illogical that it is time to say, “The emperor of science has nothing on!” For truly, an orderly and sustainable universe could not have come about by chance, by a random process. It must be the result of an intelligent mind holding a vision for that universe and then imposing that vision on the Ma-ter light, so that the Ma-ter light outpictures the vision.

And this then gives rise to the recognition that all self-conscious beings have the power of mind to impose the vision on the Ma-ter light, and that is why human beings have been able to create something that is lower than the vision of earth held in the Mind of God. And that is why you see so many imperfect conditions on earth. It is not a matter of God creating in this way. Nor is it a matter of a game of chance so that there is no real systematic way to improve life.

Has not science systematically improved the material conditions of life on this continent? Then does it make sense to say that everything is random? Is it not more logical, indeed, to say that human beings have the power of mind to envision a future that is different from their current reality? And thus, if they envision a future that is lower than their current reality, they will create that future and they will create the dark ages for an entire civilization. And if they break the mold of thinking and start envisioning a brighter future, they will create a better future as has indeed happened on the European continent since the emergence of science and the age of Enlightenment.

Inconsistencies in the theory of evolution

I am one of the primary ascended masters who have sponsored the United States of America. I did so because I saw the need for a nation who could provide a bastion of freedom against the rising red tide and a rising tide of totalitarian forces seen around the world. Yet instead of using their prosperity and power to promote true freedom, the American people have allowed themselves to be lulled asleep by a comfortable lifestyle. Instead of using the freedom they have been given to raise their vision for a better society, they have accepted a limited vision based on creature comforts. They have refused to acknowledge that freedom comes with a responsibility and an obligation to use their freedom and prosperity to help other people, both the poor in their own nation and the poor and disadvantaged around the world.

Instead of using this freedom to set others free, too many Americans have started worshipping the god of mammon. And thus they sit in their churches every Sunday, feeling holier than thou, because they have declared Jesus Christ to be their Lord and Savior. Yet they do not realize that they are not worshipping or following the true Jesus Christ, the real Jesus. They are indeed following an idolatrous image of Christ. They are dancing around a golden calf created by the false pastors that control most of the so-called Christian churches in the United States.

The power elite lulling the people to sleep

These false pastors do not want the people to be awakened, they do not want them to think for themselves, and thus they are carrying on a tradition of lulling people to sleep, a tradition that was started 1,700 years ago with the founding of the Roman Catholic Church by the Emperor Constantine. He was indeed trying to lull his people to sleep in order to maintain his power.

This pattern of putting the people to sleep, so that a small elite can control a majority the population, has been continued and reinforced ever since, not only by the Catholic Church but by most of the mainstream Christian churches. This is indeed a pattern that is in such opposition to the mission of Jesus that it is nothing less than blasphemy. Jesus came to awaken people so that they could choose the immortal life of Christ, the immortal life of the Christ consciousness, rather than the death of the human consciousness, the duality consciousness, the consciousness of anti-christ.

So the problem we see in the United States today is that too many people worship the god of comfortability, and they want their lives to continue as they are today. They do not want to seriously change their lifestyles, change themselves, change their attitude to life. They do not want to reach for a higher understanding of life. They do not want to take responsibility for their own lives, for their own salvation or for their nation. So they are allowing a small elite, a power elite, to run almost every aspect of life in the United States, from the churches to the government to the media and the educational establishments—and of course the business world.

My Beloved, science has created the concept of the laws of nature. And certainly, there are laws that guide the evolution of nature. But the problem with materialistic science is that it has given people the impression – the fundamental belief, the paradigm – that even the laws of nature are mechanical, and thus always function in a certain way and therefore nothing can override the laws of nature.

This is what has caused several past societies – that had achieved a high level of sophistication – to actually lose the abundance they had attained. Some of these societies were so abundant and so sophisticated that, compared to your current civilization, you would have said that they were a Golden Age society. And to some degree they were. But what happened was, that those societies were eventually taken over by the people who had an imbalance of power. These are the people who are unbalanced in power, and they will seek to control those who are unbalanced in love—and who therefore become passive followers of the blind leaders.

And when the blind leaders had taken over, they created a society in which the people were very comfortable. But they were comfortable because, number one, they had used the mechanization consciousness to create mechanical technological devices, that gave them what they needed to sustain their lifestyle. And number two, they had been seduced by the mechanization consciousness to believe, that there was nothing beyond their current lifestyle, that there was no greater abundance to be had. Because according to the laws of nature – and the limitations built into nature on this planet – they could not have more than what they had.

This is the scenario expressed in the saying that ignorance is bliss. The people were ignorant of the potential to have more, and therefore they had reached a certain state of contentment, a certain state of comfortability with what they had. And this was to a large degree the case with the Jews at the time that Jesus appeared. And that is why he had to perform certain miracles, that shook people out of the consciousness that there were certain limitations, that there were certain things that were impossible for a human being.

Today, those who are trapped in the aspect of the mechanization consciousness called materialistic science, look back at Jesus’ time and deny his miracles because they say, “This would go against the laws of nature, and therefore, clearly, it could not be possible that someone could raise the dead, heal the sick by a simple command, or walk on water or turn water into wine. Thus, Jesus must have been a phony, he must have been a charlatan, he must have hypnotized the people to believe in his miracles. Or the gospel writers simply made it all up to make Jesus look special.”

The reality is, that the laws of nature are not mechanical. When you attain some measure of Christ consciousness, you can go beyond what science currently calls the laws of nature. And thus, you can use the infinite creative power of the expanding and contracting forces of the Father-Mother God – through the balance of the Christ mind – to bring forth a much higher manifestation than what is currently possible on earth.

What science currently sees as the laws of nature are not actually the laws of God. They are the laws that are created out of the duality of the mechanization consciousness, where an action must have an opposite reaction. And thus, any action will be limited by the reaction. There are certain limitations, that human beings cannot go beyond—as long as they are trapped in the dualistic state of consciousness, the mechanization consciousness. And Jesus came to demonstrate, that with men it is impossible to go beyond the current limitations of nature, but with God all things are possible.

What does it mean to be reborn of water and of Spirit? Well, several things. But one certainly is that being born of water is that you come the understanding with the mind, that you actually need to surrender the lower self. For in coming to that understanding, the “I” of the conscious self can then separate itself from the mortal self, because it realizes that if the mortal self dies, the “I” will not die. It will be reborn into its true identity as One with the All.

And when you give up that finite identity and merge into the infinite identity, then you are not an “I” located in the nexus, thinking “I am this, and I must express that down here.” Because there is no distance. You are everywhere, above and below. So you are just letting the I AM Presence flow through your nexus into the four lower bodies and express itself through those four lower bodies without the “I,” the conscious self, having to think about this, or even feel that something from outside of me up there is flowing through me here and expressing itself down there. Because it has stopped thinking that “I AM here and only here.” It knows it is everywhere in the consciousness of God. And that is when the “I” becomes the “Is” for now the energies, the ideas, the reality from the spiritual realm can flow through you into the material realm.

But not only flow through you, but also be expressed by you, because you are now fully conscious of everything you do. And in every situation you are not thinking: “Oh, I don”t want to be in this situation, I wish it was over.” You are simply there with the Allness of who you are, expressing that, and thereby transcending and transforming the situation so that other people are raised up. And so that the you have mastery over the material realm, and the matter light is raised up, is freed from the imperfect matrices that have been put upon it through the duality consciousness. It can be instantly set free, whereby the water is turned into wine, the dead are raised, the sick are healed.

This is what you saw in Jesus. Jesus had united, he had become the IS and that is why God could manifest these so-called miracles through him—that are not miracles; they are simply the natural state of the Ma-ter light expressing the reality of the Father, rather than the unreality of the duality consciousness. And as I said, with the mass consciousness that can be pulled here and there, the matter light has volunteered to express any form that God’s co-creators impose upon it. But this does not mean that the matter light has no consciousness. It does not mean that the matter light enjoys taking on the negative forms of violence, and images that are not in harmony with the higher principles. The mother light would at any moment gladly shake this off and instead instantly manifest the higher reality of God.

Change is always possible

So again, nothing is hopeless. Change is possible. That, my beloved, is what the power elite do not want you to believe, and they especially do not want the people to believe it. They want them to believe that status quo cannot be changed, or certainly cannot be changed beyond certain boundaries. And this is the lie that Jesus challenged, and that we need those in physical embodiment who are also willing to challenge. And this implies many things. You do not always have to come out strongly and give a teaching like I have given today, which surely, as they say, will blow many people away, as I know some of you are holding on to your seats here.

Nevertheless, there are many more gentle ways to awaken people to the fact that change is always possible. Look at history, my beloved. Look at how much society has changed in a thousand years. Think back—go to one of the museums you have in Britain and elsewhere, and see how people lived in the Stone Age. And then see how you live today, only a few thousand years later. And then see how much has happened just within the last century, just within your lifetime. How computer technology has transformed society.

Should not a realistic assessment make you see that change is indeed possible? And that change can have many levels? And is it not possible to help people see that the reason why society is at a higher level today than in the Stone Age, is that there has been an expansion in consciousness, and that it is the expansion in consciousness that drives all progress?

It is not that difficult to make people see, that because the expansion of consciousness has become one-sided in the West, where people have forgotten spirituality – partly because of the perversions of Christianity that took Jesus’ true teachings away from the people, and then because of the consciousness of materialism – well then, people have become unbalanced and that is why you have a one-sided progress. Where you have technological progress – as Jesus recently explained in the answer to a question – and the technological progress itself creates problems which people cannot solve, because they do not have the corresponding expansion in their spiritual awareness. This is not, as they say, rocket science. It is possible to make many, many people understand these concepts, when you make them your own and express them in your own words.

I have spoken for a long time, which shows you that I have had a great desire to once again be able to speak freely on this island of Britain. Having spent several lifetimes here; having been willing to make the ultimate sacrifice in order to awaken the British people to a higher way, to higher principles. I have a very strong desire to see these people become awakened to their true potential for expressing a Golden Age in this nation.

Ascended Master Gautama Buddha, January 1, 2013 through Kim Michaels.

Everything is an upward spiral. I am not asking you to look at yourself with the negativity or the fallen mindset that wants you to think that you made a mistake by believing in the 2012 phenomena. I am asking you to realize that you have the potential to step up higher and engage in an upward spiral.

You need to follow the admonishments I have given here and that we have given in many other teachings. You need to transcend. You need to, first of all, let go of this idea that some cosmic cycle will do it all for humankind. This is nonsense.

Everything on earth revolves around free will. No cosmic force would ever be allowed to come in and force the earth into a higher state. It will have to be brought about by a critical mass of people. As we have explained many times, there is a limit to what even the top 10% can do. The bottom 10%, some of those must eventually be judged and removed from the planet, and the 80% must be awakened to a higher level. Everything is a matter of free-will choices, or rather, it is a matter of choices for the will is not free because the vision is not free.

The key to growth is to expand people’s vision so that they will make better choices. Then the earth can be accelerated into a higher dimension, so to speak. Of course, it will not happen as many among the 2012 so-called prophets have predicted. It is not a matter of this happening in some physical way. It is all a matter of consciousness and it happens first at the etheric, then at the mental, then at the emotional level and finally it begins to break through to the physical. This, of course, will take the longest so we focus on the three highest levels and gradually allow it to filter through into the physical.

This may be, at first, a foreign concept to many societies in the West. But it is only foreign because you have not realized, that society has been doing this literally for centuries, if not for millennia. How does a society progress to a distinctly different level? It happens in only one way.

First, some people among the population begin to accelerate their individual consciousness beyond a certain level of consciousness. And then, as a critical mass is reached, then there is what physics calls a phase transition, where suddenly others start falling in line with the people who are the forerunners. And now, there is a shift in the collective consciousness. Surely there may still be some that are lagging behind, but there has been a shift in the collective consciousness. And suddenly, what was seen as an insurmountable obstacle a short while ago, is now seen for what it really is: just another condition, that we can find a way to overcome.

Look at your modern societies. Compare them to societies, how it was 200 years ago, 500 years ago, a thousand years ago. Project yourself into the mindset that people had back then. Realize that there were so many things they looked at as the insurmountable obstacles. And today, you look at the same conditions and you take it for granted, that you can go beyond those obstacles.

Just consider, as one simple example, how you have all come to this event from some distance. Then consider how 200 years ago, how long it would have taken you to come from your homes to this particular location. For some of you it would have taken weeks, and now you could accomplish it in a couple of hours with an airplane or in a few more hours with a car or a train.

Can you see, that what you take for granted today, seemed like an insurmountable obstacle for the people of not very long ago. And then, can you not also project yourself into the future and realize, that if history is any example, then humankind will continue to raise its awareness, to raise its consciousness. And there will be a time, where some of the obstacles you consider insurmountable today, will be seen as quite simple problems, that nobody even worries about anymore.

And so, can you not then realize, that the step, that could help both you personally and society, would be if people would realize, that we have already been accelerating our consciousness. But if we focused on this consciously and learned to do it more consciously, then we could speed up the acceleration rate.

And therefore, we could very quickly accelerate our societies out of some of the conditions that we currently think are a threat to those societies—be it the financial crisis, be it unrest or unpeace or conflicts that we think are insurmountable. And truly, they ARE insurmountable, when you look at them through the filter of a certain state of consciousness. And that is why you will never see the solution, when you look through the filter.

You can only transcend the problem by accelerating your consciousness to a higher level, where you can now see what you could not see before. And now, with your new awareness, your new vision, the solution suddenly becomes obvious. And this is the power of the fourth ray, when you understand the true inner aspect of it as acceleration.

Yet, it is also divine justice that no planetary unit is an island. And therefore, the inhabitants of a planetary unit cannot do whatever they want without being connected to the whole of the material universe. And so, if the entire universe is in an accelerated Ascension Spiral, then the inhabitants of a planet like earth, will be connected to that spiral. And thus, in order to resist the Ascension Spiral, they must exert greater and greater force. And this again intensifies the struggle.

Now, you may say – if you look at this from inside the struggle – that this is then forced upon you by this external God, who is forcing you to be connected to the Ascension Spiral. But things are not quite that simple. For the reality is this if a planetary unit was an isolated unit, and if the inhabitants of that unit really could take their planet into a downward spiral without being connected to a greater whole, well, then that downward spiral would very quickly accelerate to the point, where the planetary unit would be destroyed. And the beings who were then responsible for that spiral, would have no other way to go than through the dissolution of their individuality in what has been called the second death.

And thus, if the earth was not connected to the whole, then the earth would long ago have self-destructed, and the beings who brought in into that spiral would have destructed with it. And thus, they would no longer have free will – the opportunity to choose.

And so, you see indeed, there is no self-aware being that can exist independently, for it is an expression of the Creator’s own Being. And of course, the Creator prefers that all expressions of its Being go through the Ascension Spiral. The Creator has given you an incredibly long time span, and has given you free will to decide which road you want to travel on the way to the ascension point. But there is an underlying law that states, that you must go either up or down, that you cannot stand still. For that would be against the purpose of creation itself. And it would indeed be against the purpose for which you have chosen to enter this spiral that is creation, that is the world of form.

For regardless of the images created by science or various religions, the world of form is not static. It does not stand still, nor is it cyclical in nature going from one state to another of back to the first, back to the second and so forth indefinitely. The world of form is an upward spiral that has a clear direction and a clear purpose. You may fight against it – that is your choice – but you are not fighting against God or God’s plan. You are fighting against the consequences that you have created and that those on your planetary unit have created collectively.
