And thus, I desire those who are loyal to me to go beyond an outer loyalty to an outer religion, an outer belief system, even an outer image of Christ and see that I am part of the ascended masters, part of that River of Life. And thus, I came indeed to be the hierarch for one cycle in the ongoing unfoldment of God’s kingdom on earth. And thus, what I came to bring, my teachings, my example – even the entire 2,000-year cycle of Pisces – is simply one facet in the unfoldment, in the revealing of the shining diamond of God. And thus, Christianity was never meant to be an end in itself, to be the “end-all, be-all.” It was indeed, as we have said before in previous releases at this conference, meant to set the stage for the next step.

And thus, you will see that if people are truly loyal to me as the living, ascended Jesus Christ – and not to a dead, man-made image created by some self-serving institution, by people who are trapped in, actually, the consciousness of anti-christ – well, if you have that true loyalty to me, then you will look beyond these graven images of Christ, and you will realize the true purpose for which I came. Namely to set the foundation for raising humankind to the level of consciousness, that is needed for people to enter the Age of Aquarius, the consciousness of Aquarius. Which has the potential to bring into manifestation a Golden Age beyond what this planet has ever seen.

Even past Golden Ages will pale in comparison if the full potential for the Golden Age of Aquarius is allowed to manifest through those who will make themselves the open doors by walking the path that I demonstrated and outlined. And thus, I shall, temporarily, yield to my beloved brother, my beloved consort in spirit, Saint Germain, that you may see that we are individuals but we are One in our individuality.

Come out of the tomb of orthodox Christianity

Therefore, I need you to wake up and realize that it is time to come out of the tomb of orthodox Christianity. You must rise, as Lazarus rose at the call of the Living Christ. And you must disentangle yourself from the burial cloth of the false doctrines and the dead rituals in which you have been wrapped, in which your souls have been wrapped for nearly 2,000 years. I am your mother, the mother of all life on earth, the mother of the universe itself, and I must tell you that it is time to awaken to the reality of who you are in God. You are indeed a Christed being.

My Son Jesus has brought forth a magnificent book, The Mystical Teachings of Jesus, which tells you everything you need to know to manifest your Christhood. I encourage you to devour that book, to internalize it and to let it become a part of your very consciousness.

In that book, Jesus says that 10,000 lifestreams have now manifested their Christhood, but many of them are not consciously aware of this. And millions more have manifested a high degree of Christhood. Well, I must tell you that it is high time for these souls to awaken and consciously recognize who they are and why they are here.

They are here to hold the balance in this critical time and to prevent the earth mother from going through a period of upheaval that has not been seen for thousands of years. You are the shock troops that are meant to be the first wave of spiritual warriors to turn this planet around for my Son Jesus Christ, so that he may come and reign as the spiritual king that he is truly anointed to be by Almighty God.

Rise up and fulfill your destiny. DO IT NOW!

This is truly the message that needs to be shouted from the housetops. And this day I, the Virgin Mary, the Blessed Mother, stand before you in such a tangible manifestation, that everyone who reads these words will be able to sense my Presence in their hearts—if they are willing to open their heart to me.

And I say to you: “Rise up and fulfill your destiny! Defend the Living Christ in my Son Jesus and in his inner teachings. Defend the Living Christ in yourself and defend the Living Christ in your spiritual brothers and sisters. This is indeed the need of the hour. This is the call of the hour. Heed my call, or you will see a wholesale destruction on this planet that no one will be able to turn back after the critical hour has struck. That hour is fast approaching! I cannot stress enough how urgent my call is! I need you to awaken yourselves and to awaken yourselves NOW!”

I am stern. I am direct. But I am first of all honest about the dire reality of the time in which you live. If you will study the teachings on our website, you will see that there is no fear in them. Nor is there any room for fear for a spiritual warrior. It is not my goal to awaken you through fear. It is, however, my goal to awaken you to the sternness of the stark reality you are facing on this planet.

Be not fooled by those who cry that all is well. Be not fooled by the false teachers who are selling their wares to those who are unaware. Awaken to the reality that you are a son or daughter of God and that you are here to serve your Brother of light, my Son Jesus, in bringing God’s kingdom into full manifestation on this earth.

The original intent for the Christian movement

Even the Catholic Church has been reborn into a higher sense of self, although still very far from being the true representative of Christ on earth—as indeed, there never will be an institution who can represent Christ.

For what is Christ? The process of constant rebirth! And an institution must, of necessity, have some kind of continuity, or it would not be an institution. And so, you will see that the very idea that Christ and the teachings of Christ can be institutionalized is simply a dualistic creation that springs, in fact, from the mind of anti-christ. For Christ is constantly moving.

Did I not say that I would give you another comforter, that I would pray that the father would send you another comforter—the Holy Spirit? Well, the Holy Spirit bloweth where it listed, and I came to start a movement 2,000 years ago that would be constantly reborn, constantly renewing itself, my beloved.

Yet, as always, those who are identified with their egos could not handle this seemingly chaotic state of constant rebirth, and they could not handle the seeming contradictions brought forth by some of the gnostic teachings. Truly, some of which were not in attunement with the ascended masters, but were in attunement with lower spirits—as you see among the channelers [of] today. Nevertheless, there was a potential for Christianity being a living, breathing movement, constantly transcending itself by maintaining that flow of the Holy Spirit—which is what we, today, call progressive revelation.

And so, it is indeed possible and necessary that Christianity can be reborn into such a living religion. As, indeed, Buddhism can be reborn—for also, the Buddha came to maintain or create such an ongoing sense of bringing forth new teachings and new awareness, my beloved. Can you not see the irony that modern Buddhists are still studying texts that were brought into the physical 2,500 years ago, or more than 2,000 years ago? Can you not see the irony of this, my beloved?

Can you not see the irony of Muslims looking back to the Qur’an, brought forth so many centuries ago, yet generally rejecting the tradition seen in the Sufi tradition – the mystical Islam – of bringing forth a continually renewed understanding of the deeper mysteries. You see this in every religion, you see it in science, you see it everywhere—this refusal to be reborn, this holding on to the old identity.

Are you willing to be reborn?

And then, my beloved, you who are the spiritual people – who see it so clearly in the world – now turn around, now look in the mirror, now look at yourself and see how you sometimes hold on to the old sense of identity. “How could I so easily be reborn and now I am no more that terrible person I was yesterday? How could that happen so easily?” You fall into that subtle reasoning of the Prince of this world and the ego. Where the ego is saying, as we have explained in previous discourses in this series, “Oh, you cannot just walk away from me. You cannot just abandon me. You cannot just give it all up.” But you see, my beloved, you can.

You can – every time the ego comes at you with some lesser sense of self – you can look at it and say, “I give you up. I surrender you. And I accept that I AM reborn!” And if you will do this constantly, if you will build a habit and a momentum of surrendering and accepting your rebirth, then you will, as I said, out-pace the ego and the prince of this world.

For they cannot keep up with perpetual rebirth—they cannot keep up with it, my beloved. And thus, you will be accelerated beyond it. You will literally accelerate your sense of self beyond the ego—stop feeding it your light. Whereby it will die and be consumed. Even so, as you do with the rosaries, where you are constantly invoking the light to consume that ego and the energy that is feeding it.

And so, by taking your own personal ego out of the equation of planet earth, you will also raise up the mass consciousness. And by showing other people that they can do the same, well then, you will become part of a new awareness – a new awakening, my beloved – that it is possible to rise above the past and to accept that not only am I reborn, but humanity is reborn, society is reborn, Planet earth is reborn. And we can, indeed, be reborn out of this old sense of identity that causes – that manifests, that out-pictures – the current imbalance and poverty, and all of the diseases of the physical body and all of the other limitations, such as warfare and strife and conflict.

I AM indeed the real Jesus, and I have sponsored and inspired this website for the purpose of giving you an opportunity to make peace with me.

The person who has created the physical aspect of this website does not claim or believe that he is Jesus, is Jesus in embodiment or Jesus come again. He is serving as my mouthpiece, my messenger, my open door for bringing forth the teachings on this site, as many people have done during the past two millennia.

Planet earth is presently at a rather low level of its cosmic evolution. This planet has made the considerable sacrifice to serve as a home for people who are still in a rather low state of consciousness, giving them an opportunity to live out that mindset until they have hopefully had enough and want more. The hope is that they will one day have had enough of the death consciousness and will want the LIFE of the Christ consciousness that I offer to all people on earth.

Plausible deniability

Due to the Law of Free Will and the rather low state of consciousness of many of the inhabitants on this planet, plausible deniability must be maintained. I do not have the authority to create some kind of undeniable proof that I exist, and thus I have sponsored a website created by a human being, so that it is easy for people to deny the validity of this site and the teachings upon it.

This is the same law I followed, when I walked this earth almost 2,000 years ago. I was allowed to perform certain miracles, but I was not allowed to manifest any phenomena that could not be doubted or denied by those in the consciousness of duality, the consciousness of anti-christ.

This also explains why my non-dualistic, mystical teachings and example were turned into a rigid, abusive, dictatorial religion, that for almost 1,700 years has been in direct opposition to my purpose for coming to this planet. I am perfectly aware of how many people have been abused and hurt by the religion that claims to represent me on earth. I am aware of this because I truly feel the pain of all these people, and that is why I have decided to give all people this opportunity to be free of all pain, fear or doubt related to their relationship with me

Why do you need to make peace with Jesus?

Why do you need to make peace with Jesus? Because no matter where you have grown up – in a Christian or non-christian culture – you have been given a false image of me and my mission. And the real problem is that this has also caused you to accept a false image of yourself, an image that limits your life experience and that will prevent you from following my example. Thus, you can benefit greatly from overcoming that false image and getting some sense of who I am and what I truly teach. Not only will this enrich the rest of your journey on this planet, it will also greatly assist you in what happens after you leave this planet.

If you consider yourself a Christian, you will want to know that mainstream Christianity presents a false image of me that simply cannot take you to salvation. You will not make it to heaven by following the blind leaders of the Christian churches, regardless of the fact that they claim to be my representatives. You will make it only by knowing my true teachings, as I present them on this website and in other places shunned by orthodoxy.
If you consider yourself a spiritual seeker, you will want to know that although you do not have to become a Christian in order to grow and make your ascension, you still have to make peace with me by overcoming all false images of me. My true teachings and my example provided an archetypal pattern of the process that all people have to go through in order to graduate from Earth’s Schoolroom. Today, I hold a spiritual office that all people must pass through in order to ascend from earth. Thus, unless you have made peace with me, how can you possibly even approach me and move through my office to your permanent ascension in the light?
If you consider yourself a non-Christian, and perhaps look upon Christianity with suspicion or hostility, you can benefit from knowing that my true teachings are universal and are aimed at helping all people escape the death consciousness. And as explained above, no matter what is your outer religious affiliation or non-affiliation, you still have to pass through my spiritual office in order to become permanently free from what might be called the treadmill of the death consciousness.

Why Jesus came to earth

Everything that happens on earth is an opportunity and a test. If you really want to understand why I came to earth, you need to understand that my coming was the supreme opportunity and the supreme test. I came to give all people a real choice.

The simple fact is that life on earth has been almost entirely dominated by the consciousness of death, the consciousness of anti-christ, in which people see themselves as being separated from their spiritual source and from each other. If you have never encountered anything but the consciousness of death, how can you actually make a free choice between death and life?

Thus, I came to demonstrate that there is an alternative to the consciousness of duality, the consciousness of anti-christ. It is the Christ consciousness in which you know and accept who you are, and thus see yourself as one with your Creator and one with all life. I came to teach and demonstrate a path that helps you let the mortal self die, so you can be reborn into your true identity as an individualization of your Creator’s Being.

Due to the Law of Free Will, I could not prevent those who are entirely blinded by the duality consciousness from developing a religion called Christianity and setting themselves up as my only representatives. I could not prevent them from creating a religion that teaches the exact opposite of my true teachings, and thus makes an entirely false promise that cannot take people beyond the death consciousness.

Are you ready for the path of Christ?

Yet what the law does permit me to do is to present people with an alternative to the false path, and that is the entire purpose for this website. What I teach on this website is the true path of Christ, the path that can take YOU to the same state of consciousness that I demonstrated, namely personal Christhood.

I am fully aware that those who are still blinded by the duality consciousness will deny, put down or ridicule the very existence of this website and the teachings upon it. And by doing this, they will simply hasten their own judgment, for did I not say that by your words you shall be justified and by your words you shall be condemned? Yet the primary purpose of this website is to offer the true path of Christ to those who are ready for it.

How will you know whether you are ready? Well, you will not know with the outer mind. You will know only with the inner mind of the heart, your intuition. Tune in to your heart and consider whether you feel something stirring or burning in the core of your being? If you do, then consider that you might indeed have chosen to take embodiment at this critical time in order to help me and other ascended masters facilitate the transition of this planet into a new phase of its cosmic evolution.

Thus, I encourage you to consider whether you might identity yourself as one of the millions of people I talk about in the following discourse. And if you do, then use the teachings and tools I present to awaken yourself to the true purpose for which you came to this planet at this turning point of cosmic cycles.

How Christianity falsified the teachings of Jesus

It is perhaps the greatest irony of history that the very institution which claims to represent Jesus on earth has completely perverted his teachings. Almost no matter which branch of Christianity you have been exposed to, you have been given an entirely false view of Jesus and his true mission. This view is not simply based on ignorance, it is based on a deliberate intent to prevent you from knowing the true teachings of Jesus and thereby claiming your Christhood.

This is not to say that all Christian leaders or ministers are aware of this and are deliberately misleading people. The deliberate falsification of Jesus’ true message took place a long time ago, but the problem is that very few modern Christians have been willing to acknowledge what happened, let alone do anything to correct the errors of the past. Thus, modern Christianity is simply building its cathedrals on the sands of past falsifications and manipulations.

Why was Jesus’ message distorted and falsified? It was the power elite of his society that killed Jesus and since then varying power elites have done everything they could to prevent you from following the example of Jesus. The leaders of the ruling elite do not want even one person to claim his or her Christhood and they especially do not want 10,000 people or even millions of people to do so.

The one thing you need to acknowledge about Christianity is that it is not a religion, meaning it is not an institution dedicated to securing your salvation. Instead, Christianity is a political apparatus aimed at controlling the population at large and especially at preventing the emergence of people who dare to express their Christhood.

Why it is deliberately made easy for people to reject this website

You cannot understand the form and purpose of this website unless you know that there are certain spiritual laws that govern planet earth. The most important of these is the Law of Free Will.

The earth is one of the lower planets with intelligent life as witnessed by the amount of war, conflict and “man’s inhumanity to man.” This means that the earth is a repository for lifestreams who are blinded by the illusion of separation, which is the primary product of the mind of anti-christ.

The Law of Free Will mandates two things. First, such lifestreams must be given a planet on which to act out their state of consciousness until they see the futility of it. Secondly, in order to uphold free will, no irrefutable proof of God’s existence can be given on this planet. Plausible deniability must be maintained.

When Jesus walked the earth 2,000 years ago, he performed certain so-called miracles yet it was still possible for people to deny him, as witnessed by the fact that he was crucified and rejected by most people.

The same consideration applies today. Jesus is very much alive as a being in the spiritual realm and he is still working to help human beings escape the consciousness of anti-christ, yet he can do this only within the parameters set by the Law of Free Will.

This means that Jesus cannot appear in some undeniable manifestation but can give new teachings to humankind only in such a way that plausible deniability is maintained. Over the past 2,000 years Jesus has worked with many human beings in order to give inspiration and teachings. This website is simply one link in Jesus’ ongoing effort to set us humans free.

This website is created based on a direct initiative from Jesus who continues to sponsor the website. The creator of this website is a human being who has acknowledged his Christ potential—the potential that all of us have. He has followed the path to Christhood until he was qualified to serve as a messenger for bringing forth the teachings on this website.

As with all of the other efforts, Jesus must work through a human being in embodiment because this gives people the option to reject what he offers. Many people reject this website for a variety of reasons, be it the human characteristics of the messenger or the form or content of the teachings.

Only those who are willing to look beyond the outer form will sense the vibration of Jesus and feel how it resonates with something in their own hearts. And only those will get the real message of this website, namely that you too can access Jesus directly within yourself without having to depend on ANY institution on earth.

The entire purpose of this website is to help you see and accept that you have the potential to manifest the Christ consciousness, whereby you can say that you are one with your spiritual teacher (be it Jesus or another ascended being). This website will give you the understanding and the tools that will empower you to claim your spiritual birthright. Let no man take thy crown.

10. Virtues of Magnificent Confusion

Most people who study these discourses on the ego will end up feeling somewhat confused. It seems almost impossible to distinguish between what is the dualistic “truth” of the ego and what is the real truth of the Christ mind.

This is simply a necessary phase on the spiritual path that all seekers must pass through before they can rise above the ego. It is indeed possible to pass through this phase, even though it can seem hopeless at times.

The state of honest confusion is a magnificent state of consciousness. You should congratulate yourself for having won an important victory. By being willing to move into a state of confusion, you have taken a very important step on the path of freeing yourself from the ego.

The ego has an insatiable desire to be in control of every situation. It is constantly seeking to set itself up as an authority figure that cannot be questioned or gainsaid.

The ego lives in a constant state of fear that if it is proven wrong, it will lose its control over you and thus it will die. If the Conscious You begins to see the fallacy of the ego’s dualistic, fear-based and control-seeking reasoning, the ego will lose its control over you and it will eventually die.

If a person is completely identified with his or her ego, the person will feel the ego’s fear of losing control. This person will feel compelled to defend the ego’s beliefs in order never to be proven wrong.

The ego attempts to avoid being proven wrong by creating beliefs that are based on either black-and-white thinking or gray thinking.

The ego defines a world view, and as long as the person accepts it, the person can never be proven wrong. The person will always be able to twist any situation or argument so that it seems like he or she is never wrong.

This gives a person a sense of certainty, which can make people feel very sure that they are right. Yet, this is a false security that is in constant danger of being threatened.

When you identify yourself with the ego, you have the ego’s superficial certainty, and thus you can deny any confusion. The very fact that you now feel confused is a clear demonstration that the Conscious You is no longer completely identified with the ego.

Being confused is a major step forward, because you have now become teachable for both your Christ self and your spiritual teachers. “When the student is ready, the teacher appears.”

Spiritual seekers need to go beyond the need for outer certainty and security by making conscious contact with the ultimate teacher, namely the inner teacher of their Christ selves and through that with their ascended teachers.

You will always attract to you both the true teacher that can help you take the next step and the false teacher that will make you feel like you shouldn’t take the next step. If you look for certainty, you will be attracted to the false teacher. Only if you are willing to remain confused, will you find the true teacher.

The ego seeks to control you, and the last thing the ego wants is for you to become self-sufficient and spiritually independent. In return for letting it control you, the ego offers you the false sense of certainty.

The true teacher wants you to become self-sufficient and will never seek to control you. The true teacher offers you the inner path—an ongoing process of expanding your consciousness.

If you are open to the possibility of never-ending growth in awareness, it means that there is no belief or viewpoint that can be considered absolute or infallible.

A true teacher will not tell you what to do, as the ego and false teacher will gladly do. The true teacher will give you a greater understanding, so that you have a better foundation for making choices.

On the inner path, there is no outer certainty or security. It is essential that you develop an inner sense of certainty and security.

Instead of seeking a human sense of certainty, you seek for God’s truth. You will not find Christ truth until you are willing to let go of the ego’s certainty and be confused.

Christ truth is entirely beyond the dualistic “truths” of the mind of anti-christ. Yet because you have grown up in a world that is so heavily influenced by the mind of anti-christ, it will take you some time to free your mind from this influence.

You simply must go through a period in which it seems like there is nothing that is certain, nothing you know for sure.

Keep your mind open to the inner direction, which will always seek to take you beyond your current mental box by questioning your “unquestionable” beliefs. There are people who reject the true teacher as threatening their infallible beliefs, and they cling to the ego and false teachers who do not question their most cherished beliefs.

Behind the ego’s desire to set itself up as an infallible authority is the ego’s built-in insecurity. The ego feels that it is inherently unworthy. The ego is trying to create the appearance of its worthiness by using what is available to it in the material world.

The key to overcoming unworthiness is to realize that the core of your lower being is the Conscious You, and it is more than the ego. The Conscious You is more than your entire worldly sense of identity.

The Conscious You is an extension of God’s own Being, and thus it is inherently worthy. You are worthy by the fact that God created you out of his own Being.

The concept of the Conscious You can seem abstract, but seeing is believing. If you recognize that you feel confused, you have already experienced the Conscious You.

Your ego never feels confused, for it will simply replace one failed absolutist belief with another one. The Conscious You has the capacity for self-awareness, and that is why it can recognize that it is confused and wonder about whether it is worthy.

You are already experiencing the Conscious You, because only the Conscious You can step back from your life and even consider that you have an ego and that you are more than the ego.

The ego has no inherent or self-sufficient sense of identity. The ego is its beliefs and viewpoints.

The ego must base its sense of identity and worth on its beliefs. And if one of those beliefs is threatened, the ego feels its very existence is threatened. That is why people who are identified with their egos are willing to kill other people in order to destroy a threat to their belief system.

The Conscious You has an inherent sense of identity and worth that is independent of your outer beliefs, opinions and viewpoints. You can gradually reconnect to that pure sense of being.

You can experience a state of consciousness in which you are aware, but your mind is free of specific thoughts. You experience pure consciousness, and when you have such a transcendental or mystical experience, you know you are more than the contents of your mind.

All spiritual seekers have had at least brief glimpses of this pure consciousness or they would not be longing for something beyond what this world has to offer. Yet not all seekers are consciously aware of what they have experienced.

As you become more aware of the “you” that is behind the contents of your consciousness, you naturally become less attached to those contents.

As you stop holding on to the dualistic beliefs of the ego, you will become gradually more open to the non-dual directions of your Christ self and spiritual teachers. This will eventually give you a conscious connection to the universal Christ mind.

The greatest advantage of this shift in consciousness is that you lose your fear of being wrong.

The obsessive-compulsive desire to be right springs from the ego’s belief that if its viewpoints are proven wrong, then it is proven wrong. And this belief is perfectly true—for the ego. Yet it is not true for the Conscious You because you are more than your viewpoints.

If one of your beliefs is proven wrong, it does not mean that you are wrong. And this means you can let go of the entire weight of having to always be right.

The ego will always resist having a belief proven wrong, but once you connect to who you are, you can actually see it as a great opportunity to have a belief proven wrong. Instead of continuing to live with a limited or incorrect belief, you can now rise to a higher understanding which can only enrich your life.

Losing a limited belief never leaves you in a vacuum, for the limited belief is always replaced by a broader understanding.

Your inner teacher will question your limited beliefs, but will always offer you a higher understanding to replace the limited one.

When you embrace this process, you will never feel a loss. Instead, your life will become a constant process of discovery that leads to a greater and greater understanding of life.

You must become aware of the ego’s fear of loss, and you must consciously choose to dismiss it. Instead, you must embrace the true inner path as an ongoing journey that never stops.

There is no greater certainty than oneness with the Spirit of Truth, yet it is not based on outer beliefs. Stillstand is never a reality but only an illusion created by the ego.

9. The ego is a House Divided Against Itself

The ego is based on an inescapable contradiction, and therefore the ego will always be a house divided.

Everything is made from an interplay between two polarities, namely the expanding force of the Father and the contracting force of the Mother. Thus, in every aspect of life, there are two forces at work.

A sustainable creation can occur only when the expanding and contracting forces are held in balance. This is the high potential.

The low potential is that one force becomes dominant, which inevitably leads to an imbalance. If the expanding force is too strong, everything will be exaggerated, and if the contracting force is too strong, everything will collapse upon itself.

What keeps the two forces balanced is the Christ mind, which is designed to ensure oneness between the two aspects of creation.

The Christ mind is designed to ensure oneness between Spirit and matter, which can happen only when matter outpictures the blueprint designed by Spirit.

You have a spiritual aspect of your total being, your I AM Presence. You also have a material aspect of your being, namely your four lower bodies. In order for you to fulfill your highest potential, you must have oneness between your spiritual self and your lower self.

What can ensure this oneness in your being is the Christ mind. The Christ mind will not do this as an external force that imposes oneness upon you. It will do it only when it becomes an internal force.

This will happen only when the Conscious You makes the decision to unite with the Christ mind, to become the Living Christ. The Conscious You must take full responsibility for your life and being, even for your salvation. It must be willing to make the critical decisions and seek balance in every situation.

Once you have the Christ mind, finding balance is not difficult, but in order to have that mind, the Conscious You must accept full responsibility, and that is often a major stumbling block for spiritual seekers. The ego is often successful in getting people to follow the outer path, the automatic path that does not require you to take full responsibility for making decisions.

After you became enveloped in the consciousness of duality, you made wrong decisions, until you came to the point where the Conscious You decided that it would no longer make decisions. You created the ego to make decisions for you.

Your decisions produced undesirable consequences because they were based on the duality consciousness. This caused you to take everything too far into one of the two extremes, and the result was suffering.

If your decisions are based on the clarity of the Christ mind, they will always lead to growth, and then there is no burden associated with making decisions.

When you decided to stop making decisions, you already had a momentum of making decisions based on the dualistic mind. You had created a computer program in your subconscious mind and this developed into the ego.

The ego is more than a computer program in that it has a survival instinct and is thus an aggressive force in your being. Once you have given the ego control, it will rather die than give it up—because giving it up means that the ego will die.

When you look at life through the Christ mind, you see the expanding and contracting forces as complementary. When you look at life through the duality consciousness, you see the two basic forces as opposites.

To your ego, the two basic forces are seen as enemies that are out to oppose its control over your circumstances. Since the ego can never grasp the Christ mind, this is a fundamental problem that can never be solved at the level of the ego.

The ego can never balance the expanding and contracting forces. Thus, the ego’s decisions will always produce suffering.

The ego will take you from one extreme to the other. This will not stop until the Conscious You takes back responsibility for making decisions and reaches for the Christ mind.

The Christ mind will not enter your being unless it is invited. Your ego will never invite the Christ mind. So the Christ mind can enter only when invited by the Conscious You.

The Conscious You cannot invite the Christ mind until it has taken full responsibility for your life by deciding that it is willing to take the decision-making power away from the ego.

The Christ mind will not enter as an external force that will fix your problems for you. The Christ mind can work in your life only when it becomes an internal force because the Conscious You is willing to become one with your own Higher Being.

To the ego there is no spiritual purpose for life; the purpose for life must be defined in the material world. The ego has defined any number of “life purposes.”

The real purpose of life is your growth in self-awareness. This growth comes from fulfilling your role as a co-creator with God.

You descended into the material universe in order to multiply your creative powers and take dominion over the earth, meaning the mastery of mind over matter. You will be fulfilled only when you fill this role—a role you chose before coming into embodiment.

You must start by taking dominion over your own being by establishing oneness between your spiritual self and your lower self.

You can then take dominion over the earth and exercise your creative powers by using the Christ mind to help other people rise above the duality consciousness.

The key is that the Conscious You decides to take up its role of being the Christ on earth by challenging the consciousness of anti-christ wherever it is encountered.

The key to fulfilling your divine plan is to bring the Christ mind into your life so that it can balance the two basic forces. Instead of perpetual tension between the two forces your life can become an upward spiral of greater freedom and fulfillment.

The Christ is not somewhere between the two extremes but transcends both extremes because it is above and beyond the duality consciousness.

Some people do not make the decision to turn around until they experience an extreme form of crisis. Yet an outer crisis is not what turns your life around. The only thing that can turn your life around is an inner decision, namely that your Conscious You decides to start making decisions again.

The Conscious You can – at any moment – make the decision to turn around through an inner revelation instead of forcing itself to do so by precipitating an outer crisis.

The only thing that really prevents you from making the decision is the ego, which always seeks to make you believe that you cannot transcend your present sense of identity, your present level of consciousness.

The dream that you can escape making decisions is an illusion. The Conscious You can refuse to make decisions about what to do, but it cannot refuse to be conscious.

Even when you let the ego make decisions for you, you cannot escape experiencing the consequences of those decisions. You are forced to react to the consequences, meaning that the Conscious You must decide how it reacts to the decisions made by the ego.

The Conscious You can refuse to make decisions about what you do in life, but it can never escape making decisions about how you react to life. Why force yourself to respond to the consequences of decisions that you did not make.

The first stage of the spiritual path is the process of taking dominion over your self, over your lower being. The ego will seek to derail this process by making you follow the outer path.

In order to fulfill your mission on earth, the Conscious You must make two critical decisions. The first is that you are willing to take dominion over your lower self. The second is to expand your sense of self and take dominion over the All, meaning your environment on earth.

Many spiritual seekers have started to take dominion over self. However, many have not yet realized that it must lead to the death of the ego. They are still allowing their egos to run part of their lives, which is why they cannot make the second decision.

The only factor that can bring the earth back into balance is the Christ mind, but that Christ mind must be expressed through people in embodiment. If you really want to save the earth, you must become the Living Christ on earth.

In order to fulfill your highest potential of becoming the Living Christ on earth, you must bring balance between the higher and the lower parts of your own being.

It is possible to attain a high degree of self-control without actually becoming the Living Christ. Taking dominion over self is only one side of the coin, and your Christhood will not be complete until you are willing to take dominion over the earth.

As long as you are focused on your own growth, you are not the Living Christ. Christhood must be expressed before it becomes manifest.

Christhood is what establishes oneness between Spirit and matter, a oneness that can occur only when there is a figure-eight flow from Spirit to matter and back again.

Many spiritual seekers started the downward path when their conscious selves decided that they would no longer seek dominion over the earth. Seeking dominion over the earth is a far more difficult task than seeking dominion over self because the earth has become a planet dominated by the duality consciousness. Taking dominion seemingly means that you must battle that duality consciousness.

One of the more dangerous blind alleys is that you feel you are actually doing something to save the earth, but your efforts are based on gray thinking. This causes you to think that you should never challenge the consciousness of anti-christ.

Many spiritual people have formed a subconscious pact with the devil, saying, “If you leave me alone in my pursuit of spiritual growth, I will leave the earth to you.”

The earth is out of balance because it is dominated by the duality consciousness. The only thing that can save this planet is to bring it back into balance by challenging the duality consciousness. This challenge can come only through the Christ mind, and it can happen only when the most spiritually advanced people embody that Christ mind and stand up to challenge the representatives of anti-christ.

It is a tragedy when these people are misled into refusing to make the decision to take dominion over the earth. And that is why the most critical stage on the spiritual path is the point where you make or don’t make that decision. This is the real meaning of “To be, or not to be!”

Many seekers have made progress out of a downward spiral, but this has brought them back to the point where they created the ego.

The central challenge of the spiritual path is to undo the decision that created your ego. That decision is the decision not to fulfill your reason for being, namely to BE a co-creator and take dominion over the earth.

You will have to face that decision. If you are to be free of the ego and make genuine progress, you must decide to accept your responsibility to take dominion. If you do not make that decision, all of your spiritual progress will come to a halt and you will inevitably start to create another downward spiral.

The key is to realize that although the Conscious You is designed to take dominion over the earth, it is not designed to do so by its own power or through its own wisdom. While the Conscious You must make decisions, it can base those decisions on the vision of the Christ mind.

The Conscious You actually has no power of its own; it is designed to direct power and it does so over its attention. When you place your attention on something, power flows through your four lower bodies over the bridge of your attention. Yet that power will be colored by your sense of identity.

The Conscious You has the ability to identify itself as anything it chooses, meaning you can try to take dominion by using the power of the human self or the power of the Christ self.

Seeking to act through the human self envelopes you in the dualistic power struggles fueled by the ego and the forces of anti-christ. It is because they tired of this dualistic struggle that many spiritual people decided they would no longer attempt to take dominion.

If you seek to take dominion with human power, it will be impossible, whereas if you seek it with God’s power, all things are possible.

In order to have God’s power flowing through you, you need oneness between your spiritual self and your lower being. The key is that the Conscious You accepts its true identity as a co-creator with God who has the right to take dominion over the earth and subdue it according to the vision of the Christ mind.

The ego and the forces of anti-christ will do anything in their power to prevent you from reaching this sense of identity. They will do this by seeking to take you into one of the unbalanced extremes created by the ego.

The last thing they want is for you to BE the Christ. Will you decide to BE, or will you allow your ego and the forces of anti-christ to continue to manipulate you into deciding not to be?

8. Diverting Your Attention From the Inner Path

The ego has attempted to create an impenetrable wall between your Conscious You and your acceptance of your true identity as a co-creator with God.

The process of separation took most co-creators into a self-reinforcing downward spiral of alienation from God. This led them to build a sense of identity based on the things of the material world, including their bodies and their egos.

The further you descend into identification with the material world, the more you will limit your sense of identity. You are, so to speak, building a prison for yourself, and it gradually becomes smaller until you can hardly move.

Most co-creators will eventually reach a bottom line, from which they decide to start going back up towards a more unlimited sense of identity.

The ego would prefer that this turning point did not take place, but once it has taken place, the ego will resist every upward step you take, and its primary weapon is to divert your attention from the inner path itself.

The ego wants to create the false path, which makes you believe that you can “be saved” without confronting the ego and letting it die.

The desire for something more can take you out of a downward spiral but it can also be used by the ego. The ego sees only the things of this world, and thus the ultimate triumph of your personal ego would be that you had absolute power in this world.

Although one part of your ego is afraid of you turning around and walking the path towards a greater sense of existence, another part of the ego actually welcomes this—as long as it can maintain its control over you and misdirect your longing for something more in a certain direction.

People start their return to oneness by going through the following stages:

Survival. All attention and energy is fed into the survival of the physical body.
Accumulation. Seeking material possessions becomes the goal of life. The ego can now pursue the sense that if you have more possessions than other people, you are better than them.
Seeking a higher goal by realizing material possessions is not enough.
Seeking control. A perversion of seeking growth in consciousness is the desire to control your circumstances. This can lead to a desire to control the world by fighting for a good cause.

The above are self-centered stages where people are focused on raising themselves as separate individuals by using what is available in this world. After some time, many people realize that the material world cannot be all there is to life.

People become open to a continued existence in the spiritual world after the body dies. Your conduct in this world might have an impact on what happens to you in the afterlife. This is when a person is awakened or converted to a religious lifestyle.

One part of your ego would rather that this conversion did not happen and that you remained focused on the material world. Yet another part of the ego will seek to use your religious conversion to keep you under its control.

People now go through the religious stages:

The lowest stage is represented by the black-and-white thinking, which makes people believe there is only one true religion. This can lock people in a religious version of the struggle between relative good and relative evil, and this is a dangerous trap because the ego makes people think they are doing God’s work, and thus they can deny the need for self-transcendence. Some lifestreams have to be reborn into a great number of different religions before they finally accept that there is no automatic salvation.
The lifestream now realizes that it is not enough to simply be a member of an outer organization but that you have to meet a set of individual requirements. The ego often manages to make a lifestream believe that if only it meets certain outer requirements, it will qualify for salvation. People play these ego games with a keen sense of comparison, thinking that if they do more good works than others, their salvation will be guaranteed.
The highest potential for the next stage is that the lifestream takes full responsibility for its own salvation and recognizes that the Christ consciousness requires one to discern between the relative “truth” of the ego and the absolute truth of the Christ mind. Yet most lifestreams are not quite ready to take full responsibility, so they let their egos talk them into going into the gray thinking described in a previous discourse. The ego has now defined what it means to be a spiritual person, and this definition can never lead you to the Christ consciousness. Unfortunately, it can be very difficult for sincere spiritual seekers to admit this fact and admit that their spiritual quest has been misguided.

The religious stages share some characteristics with the material stages. People are still very much focused on the ego-self, and they are seeking to use their religion to “save” their egos.

Yet people now have a sense that there is something outside the ego, namely God. Yet they still see that God as being outside themselves, and thus they are outside his kingdom. They are vulnerable to the ego’s claim that they have to meet certain outer requirements in order to enter the external kingdom.

Many spiritual people are still focused on comparing themselves to others, thinking they are better than others if they appear to be more spiritual according to the definition of their church and ego. If you seek spiritual qualities for the sake of making the ego appear acceptable to God or better than other people, you are still engaged in an impossible quest.

When people are stuck in the material stages, they are often primarily motivated by fear. When they move into the religious stages, they begin to be more motivated by pride.

Having overcome fear is an accomplishment but it does not mean that you are home free.

As you rise above fear, the chameleon of the ego will simply change color and will now stop trying to control you through fear-based means. Instead, it will become much more subtle and seek to divert you through pride-based means.

Pride will remain a temptation as long as you are in embodiment on earth. There is only one way to avoid the subtle traps of pride, namely to increase your alertness and your ability to see through the games played by the ego.

Only you can counteract the subtle games that your personal ego plays in the deepest recesses of your mind.

All pride is based on a comparison that leads to a value judgment. Neither the comparison nor the value judgment can take place in the mind of Christ.

A comparison is always a relative measure, meaning that it takes place in the realm of duality which sets up a scale between two relative extremes.

In the Christ mind, there are no relative comparisons. There is only one evaluation. Do you live up to your highest potential as a co-creator with God, or do you fall short of the mark?

The Christ mind is not blind, but it never seeks to make an imperfect condition permanent.

The mind of anti-christ seeks to create imperfect conditions by setting up its own relative standard. Once it has defined itself as being better than others, it wants to maintain their imperfections in order to maintain its own sense of superiority.

The ego seeks to raise itself up by putting other people down. It is quite possible for the ego to use a religious or spiritual teaching to play this game.

The wide gate and the broad way spoken of by Jesus is the way of the ego. The strait gate and the narrow way is the true way of self-transcendence, whereby you are spiritually reborn.

Being born again means that you are reborn into a new sense of identity. Instead of identifying yourself based on the duality consciousness, you now accept your true identity in Christ.

Being born of water means that you attain mastery over your emotions and master fear. Being born of the spirit means that you attain mastery over your thoughts and thus master pride.

When you attain the mind of Christ, you no longer follow the “logic” and “rationality” of the mind of anti-christ. Thus, neither your ego nor the forces of this world can predict what you will do. You will be following the higher logic and rationality of the Christ mind, which is utterly unfathomable to the dualistic mind.

The process of spiritual rebirth will become so much easier when you realize that the core of your being is the Conscious You, which has the ability to identify itself as anything it chooses.

If you walk the spiritual path while still identifying with the ego, you will find it very difficult to let go of the ego’s illusions. You will be fighting a constant battle because you will be thinking that if part of your ego dies, you will die.

When you consciously step outside of the ego’s mental prison, you realize you are much more than the ego, and thus you can let part of the ego die without feeling that you are dying or even losing anything.

For you to step on to this higher level of the path you will have to deeply contemplate the meaning of Jesus’ statement that the kingdom of God is within you.

You must come to see the fallacy of the ego’s claim that any conditions in this world can guarantee – or prevent – your salvation.

You must take full and final responsibility for your own salvation by realizing that the only factor that determines your salvation is whether you have the Christ consciousness or whether you still have elements of the duality consciousness in your container of self.

Salvation is not an outer condition bestowed upon you by an external God or an external savior. No one can save you for you. Salvation is an inner condition, whereby you attain a sense of oneness with God.

How can you be in the kingdom of God while maintaining the ego’s sense of separation from God? Only when you attain the Christ mind’s sense of oneness with God can you be in the kingdom.
