One of the core messages given by Jesus, Mother Mary and other ascended masters is that they love us unconditionally but that we have a hard time accepting unconditional love. Many religions have programmed us to believe that God will only love and accept us if we live up to a set of conditions defined by some authority on earth.

In reality, God’s love is beyond human conditions. Once of the primary things we can do for Jesus is to accept the unconditional love that is constantly being extended to us from the ascended realm. This is not an easy task because ti requires us to overcome thousands of years of subconscious programming. Yet as all change, it begins with a vision of what is possible and a decision to strive to attain it.

Ascended Master Mother Mary, February 13, 2014 through Kim Michaels.

We have given this teaching before. A fallen being, in embodiment or out of embodiment, cannot be taken from the earth until someone in embodiment has achieved the level of Christhood that the fallen being had before it fell. This is the law; there is no way around it. You cannot remove these fallen beings by sitting around feeling good. You can remove them by attaining Christhood to the critical level, and if these fallen beings are not removed, then the earth cannot progress beyond a certain level.

The 80% of the general population cannot free themselves from the influence of these fallen beings. They can be removed only when someone from the top 10% rises to the necessary level of Christhood. There are many people in embodiment today who, before they came into embodiment, saw the reality on this planet and saw the need for someone to rise to a certain level of Christhood in order to remove a particular fallen being. They volunteered, they said: “I have the potential to rise to that level, and I will go into embodiment to accomplish this.” Yet, when you come into embodiment, you are overwhelmed by the pressures of daily life and you forget this mission.

Therefore, I am here to remind you. Make an effort to go beyond your comfort zone. Dare to ask yourself: “Is there more I could do? Is there more I wanted to do before coming into embodiment?” Dare to listen for the answer. If you get an answer that is beyond your comfort zone, then pursue that answer. Do not settle for second best. Go all the way to what is your personal best for this lifetime.

My beloved, if you look at this planet honestly, you should be able to see that it is not all good. There is so much going on, on this planet that you know should not be happening, and I have now told you the essential key to changing things. It is that you rise to the highest level of Christhood you are capable of manifesting in this lifetime. Then you have done what you wanted to accomplish before coming into embodiment, then you have done all you can do, and then it’s all good as far as you are concerned, for you have fulfilled your reason for being.

Today we are very grateful for the fact that there are some people who are willing to listen to us, even though we do not appear in some tangible manifestation. We are grateful that there are some willing to recognize that if everything on earth is not real, if it is just a reality simulator, there must be something beyond the simulator. There might be beings beyond the simulator and they might be able to communicate with us if we are open, if we are willing to question certain realities in the simulator.

My beloved, I have give you important keys that if internalized and applied can take you far, until you begin actually to receive other keys from within yourself. Certainly, why am I speaking to you through an outer messenger? It is because there is still so many things that you believe are real, so many appearances that you believe are real, that you cannot – at least not always – hear me directly inside your own being.

Yet as you walk the path of questioning what you think is real, there will come a point where you also begin to question: “Why am I separated from the ascended masters? Why do I need an outer messenger, why am I not hearing or at least sensing the masters inside myself?”

When you look at the beliefs you have that make you think that you are not worthy – you are not ready, you are not sophisticated enough – and when you begin to question those beliefs, then at some point the veil will come down. You will begin to realize that if you acknowledge that one or a few people can be the open door, then “what one has done, all can do.” And you are one of those who can also be an open door in some measure.

Certainly, you can get your own inner direction for your own life, even if it is not your role to teach others—which it is not for some of you. Although all of you teach the people around you, your children, your family, your co-workers and other people you meet.

Again, simply our gratitude for the fact that you have accomplished this work and freed the Australian continent from this beast that has been encrusted here for far too long. This is a new day, a new opportunity for you personally and for this continent, and we indeed look forward to seeing what shall come of it in the coming decades.

Thus, I, Jesus, extend the fullness of my gratitude to you for your presence, for your patience, for your willingness to open your hearts and minds that I might pull aside the veil of reality, which is truly the veil of Maya, the veil of illusion, the veil of unreality. And with this, I thank you and I seal you in my infinite Flame of Peace.

Ascended Master Jesus, December 31, 2011 through Kim Michaels.

There are so many things in the world that can divide people. And once they become adamant about a certain viewpoint, then you can notice what happens. When people become convinced that they are right, or that there is only one right viewpoint, they become very serious. And thus, their joy is gone. Yet it is a key to understand, that if your joy is gone, then you have lost touch with the Lord Jesus Christ. You cannot be a true disciple of Jesus Christ and not have joy. For I AM joy, and I came to bring joy to the world.

Certainly, I understand that when you are in physical embodiment, it is difficult to maintain joy. You will see when you look at my life, described in the Scriptures, that I was not a particularly joyful person in that embodiment. And this is, indeed, because in my last embodiment before my ascension, I was having to work through the entire planetary momentum of anti-joy.

And certainly, there are many of you who are likewise working through the anti-thesis to the God flame that you came to bring to earth. And that is why you sometimes feel yourself dealing with certain burdens, or find it difficult to express joy, love, purity or whatever your God flame is. So I am not telling you this, that you need to feel burdened by it, or need to start another guilt trip, among the many other guilt trips that a floating around in the mass consciousness, simply looking for someone upon which they can land.

You do not need to let any of these guilt trips land upon you. But I do want you to know, that if you consider yourself to be a true disciple of Christ, it is important to recognize that what I came to bring to the world was the flame of unconditional joy. And thus, if you find yourself thinking that you are doing the work of Christ, or that you are taking a stand for Christ, or that you are expressing Christ truth, but at the same time you feel no joy in doing so, then it would be wise for you to step back and say: “Can I really be a true disciple of Christ, a true representative of Christ, if I am not able to be the open door for the very flame that Christ came to bring to the world?”

You see, my beloved, to truly step up to a higher level of representing Christ, of expressing Christ, it is indeed necessary for you to open your heart to the flame that I am. This is not to say that Jesus and Jesus Christ is the only representative of Christ on earth. You may have another flame, that it is your task and your joy to express to the world. But if you know that you are a disciple of JESUS Christ, then my flame is indeed joy. And so, is it not perfectly natural for you to tune in to that flame and begin to express it?

And so, how can you truly allow yourself to think that you are representing me, if you cannot feel and express to others the flame that I am? Again, this is not said to cause you to feel any kind of guilt, but simply to inspire you to step up higher, to a higher level of service, to a higher level of attunement. Even going beyond attunement to at-onement with who I am. For I desire to be one with all those who are my personal disciples, as any other ascended master desires to be one with his or her disciples.

Do you not see, my beloved, I do not desire to have those on earth who claim to represent Jesus Christ – whether they stand on the pulpit of a Christian Church or in a New Age or spiritual movement – yet at the same time what they are promoting is an image of Christ created in their minds. I desire to have those who can truly represent me, not by promoting an image, but by being the open door, by coming into such oneness with me and my flame, that I can stream through them. And thus, these people who are my true disciples can be a torch of joy, that lights up the world and lights up the hearts of all whom they meet.

My Beloved, joy is indeed a flame that can resolve all conflict. Joy is a flame that does not solve a problem, but it gives you a different perspective, a different frame of reference. And suddenly, the problem no longer seems so serious. And thus, you no of longer look at the problem with such a serious mindset. And suddenly, you see that maybe the problem does not actually need to be solved at the same level of consciousness through which you have looked at it so far. Maybe there is a way to step up, to expand your view, to tune in to a higher flame. And thus, you see that the problem, although it has no linear solution, there is still a way to transcend the problem and the mindset through which the problem seemed to be so serious—or even the mindset through which the problem seemed to be a problem.

Do you see, my beloved, humankind’s sense of self can be reborn. As it, indeed, has been many times over the course of history, my beloved. Take a look at the medieval society in Europe, where they believed the earth was flat. It took some time, it was not that everybody woke up one morning and said, “Oh yeah, I now see the earth is round.” No, it took some time. In fact, some people had to die physically and be reborn again into a new environment before they could accept that the earth was round.

But nevertheless, what happened was that the collective sense of self – based on the belief that the earth was flat – died, and humankind’s sense of self was reborn based on the new awareness that the earth is round. So, you will see many of these shifts, my beloved. The renaissance was a period of many such shifts. The industrial revolution, the scientific revolution, brought many such shifts. And science is still serving, to some degree, to bring these shifts, although it has also fallen into taking up the position that the Catholic Church held in the Middle Ages of actually holding back people in a materialistic mindset.

Yet you will see, in coming decades and years, that science itself will indeed be propelled beyond materialism. Materialism cannot maintain its grip on science, just as the old mindset can only maintain its grip on religion and spiritual people for a time. As you indeed see so many spiritual people in today’s age who have moved far beyond the mindset that held the people of medieval Europe in the grips of the Catholic Church.

Ascended Master Jesus, January 4, 2009 through Kim Michaels.

And thus, as a representative of the sixth ray of God Peace and God Service, let me expound on how that ray can help you communicate from the heart.

My Beloved, the essence of service is what? It is precisely, as other masters have spoken about, that you come to the realization that all life is One and that the only way to raise up yourself is to raise up the All. Thus, as I said 2,000 years ago, “Greater love has no man than to lay down his life for a friend.” Well, greater love has no spiritual being in heaven than to lay down that spiritual life, enter into the realm – the material realm that is dominated by the death consciousness – in order to awaken a friend to the potential to rise above that consciousness. That is what my embodiment as Jesus exemplified, that which in the East is called the Bodhisattva vow. Those who hear the cries of the world, and instead of leaving the world behind stay with it – often re-embodying in it although they have no karmic reason for doing so – in order to help their unascended brothers and sisters awaken to their higher potential.

This, then – when you have passed the initiations of the fifth ray – becomes the very foundation for communication from the heart—the desire to serve and to raise all life. But here we must take a look at how this concept of service can be perverted—and has been perverted by those who are trapped in the illusion of the separate self. They are betrayed by their own good intentions into thinking that in order to serve other people, it is acceptable to force them – somehow – to be saved by becoming members of a particular religion that they have come to believe will give them automatic entry into the kingdom of heaven. Even though I made many statements and gave several parables specifically to show you that no outer religion can guarantee your entry to the wedding feast. For the kingdom of God is within, and how can you enter that inner kingdom through any external means, my beloved?

It can only happen through a transformation of consciousness, a transformation of the heart. And thus, you cannot force anyone to go through that transformation. It must come from within the being as the result of free choices.

Show people that there is MORE

But what you can do is show them that they have hope, as was stated in this letter that was read before the dictation. They have hope that there is a better life and that they can attain it, if they are willing to look for it. And thus, you can go and bring that hope by demonstrating that there is a higher state of consciousness, where you are not afraid to stand in front of the high and the mighty of this world—the power elite of this world, the temple priests and the scribes and the Pharisees in both the fields of science and religion. You are not afraid to stand before them and give witness to your spiritual – not beliefs, my beloved – your spiritual knowledge, your spiritual being, your God realization. Because, for you, God is not a theoretical concept that one can argue for or against endlessly without coming up with a final answer. For you have the final answer in experiencing the Living God within you.

“I and my Father are One.” This was my statement of joy. And it was the proof that there is a God, the only proof that can ever be when you consider free will. There cannot be an ultimate argument. There cannot be some manifestation in the heavens that all can see and none can deny, for it would violate the very Law of Free Will itself. Thus, my beloved, understand that even my miracles – my so-called miracles – were only shown to a few at the time and were actually not meant to be used to set me apart from other human beings, turning me into some kind of a god, or rather a false god, for there is none good but God, so why callest thou me good? Why callest thou me god? When I myself said, “I can of my own self do nothing.” How can you then come out and claim that Jesus Christ was God from the very beginning and that he had never sinned and that he could never have failed in his mission? What nonsense is this! And I look to you to not be afraid to challenge this, but indeed to challenge it at every opportunity, my beloved.

Question the unquestionable

For let me tell you that one of the greatest plots of the false teachers is to create an environment where none dare to speak out about the underlying paradigms and assumptions that they have elevated to the status of infallibility. Think about what other masters have said about the database in the subconscious mind and how it is founded upon a particular world view. Well, the false teachers have attempted to pull everyone into accepting one of the dualistic belief systems as the foundation for their personal database. And therefore, they attempt to create an environment where no one dares to speak out and challenge those dualistic illusions.

And thereby – can you see, my beloved – that as long as those dualistic illusions are not challenged, well then the people look at every aspect of life through the filter of those illusions, having built their personal databases entirely on those illusions. And thus, how can they ever come to see the living truth? How can they come to experience the Spirit of Truth which cannot – certainly, you can see – be fit into any database based on duality? And this is, then, the catch-22, where the false teachers, the blind leaders, seek to hold people indefinitely, thinking that if they can hold people trapped, they can maintain control over this planet—not being able to realize that the very force of the Mother Kali will break down all of their prison walls.

For you see, my beloved, as my Mother explained, you cannot be satisfied, fully satisfied, by anything in this world. So even if you have a beautiful theological foundation that describes God and the heaven world and the road to salvation, then you still cannot be fully satisfied with it, my beloved. Do you see that even the teachings we have given in this day and age, teachings that are way beyond the old dogmas and doctrines, teachings that I have put on my website and that are available elsewhere, those teachings by themselves cannot satisfy you fully? For you desire to go beyond an outer teaching expressed in words and experience the Living God, the Spirit of Truth within you.

Ascended Master Jesus, November 2, 2008 through Kim Michaels.

[Period of silence by Jesus]. I am silent because I wanted you to experience that the omega polarity to our speaking is indeed silence. Do not fall into the trap of thinking that you always need to listen to an outer teaching, to an outer voice. For if you think that I, Jesus Christ, can only speak to you through an external messenger, then you are missing the Omega aspect of my ministry. For I can indeed speak to each one of you in your heart. But in order to hear me, you must create a space of silence in your mind. For I am not as loud and boisterous as you might think, based on the music that was played before I started speaking.

But this is, again, how they want to see Christ as the triumphant king, who comes in and overthrows all of the powers of this world. But you see, I was not the loud and boisterous king, that marched into the cities of Israel. I was, was I not, the humble person who rode on a donkey? And this is a symbol for the fact, that I do not come to you individually with a loud, boisterous voice trying to force you. I come as a very quiet voice, that seeks to encourage you to gain a higher understanding, that you may make better choices on your own instead of being told what to do.

I have no desire to tell every human being on this planet what to do, for even I desire to have my quiet moments. Why would I take on the job of thinking, that I know how everyone on earth should behave, thereby also being responsible for the choices they make, yet being unable – according to free will – to influence their life experience. So many times a spiritual guru has told people what to do – for example told people whom to marry – and then when the marriage does not work out – because the people had a naïve expectation that if they were told by the guru everything should be “happy ever after” – and then when they have to work on their problems, they become dissatisfied with the guru, feel like they got wrong advice, and now they go into a negative state of consciousness.

It is a pattern that you see over and over again with those who have allowed themselves to follow an external authority of any kind. And indeed, you will see it here in Germany, where the German people in the 1930’s wanted to follow an external authority, and so a person arose who could fill that role in the German nation. And then, certainly, the German people later regretted having followed that leader, and now they blamed the leader instead of recognizing, that the leader was a manifestation of their own consciousness, their own unwillingness to take responsibility.

So you see, again, if your consciousness is at a certain level, you will attract to you – or rather, you will attract yourself to – a particular parallel universe, where whatever is in your consciousness will manifest. So, you who are the spiritual people, what I would like to encourage you to consider is, that you might attune your consciousness to the vibration of my beloved brother Saint Germain and his vision for a Golden Age in Europe. And then accept that that Golden Age is the manifest reality in your world.

For this to be successful, you need, as I said, to raise your own consciousness beyond the manifestations of ego that cannot exist in the Golden Age. And this is then where I will offer my assistance as the quiet voice within—if you will indeed give me a little time once in awhile, where you seek to quiet the mind and just sit in silence. Turn off the iPod, my beloved! For I do not wish to compete with this technological wonder. Give me silence and I will give you direction. Do we have a deal? Then I seal you in the peace of my heart.

Ascended Master Saint Germain (4), July 14, 2007 through Kim Michaels.

We have now reached the point, where I can ask you to consider the greatest threat to your freedom and to the freedom of humankind, the greatest hindrance to the bringing forth of the Golden Age of Aquarius. This, my beloved, is a factor that has always been the greatest obstacle for the spiritual growth of humankind, for the awakening of people. What is the factor I am talking about?

It is the very subtle, very insidious, programming to which you have all been subjected from the very moment you first took embodiment on this planet, and certainly for your entire lifetime. It is the programming that you are supposed to be normal, a normal human being. Yet what does it mean to be normal? Is it not an attempt by the dark forces and the power elite to put you in a box, where you are so focused on following the norms defined by your society, that you do not dare to challenge those norms—and therefore do not dare to challenge the status quo that keeps the elite in control? For as long as you fit into the mold of a normal human being, you will not dare to fulfill your divine plan, and certainly you will not dare to express your Christhood. For there has yet to be a society on this planet – at least in recent history – where being the Christ in action was considered normal by the powers that be.

Those who are my own – who have come into embodiment at this time to help bring the Golden Age of Aquarius into manifestation – well, certainly part of your divine plan is to speak out about conditions in society and to challenge the lies and the illusions. But the very deepest thing that you can help me with is by being willing to challenge the ultimate illusion, the illusion of normality. For if you will look at the life of Christ, you will see that he too was challenged to be normal, even by his own mother and his brothers and sisters who came to him while he was preaching, being disturbed by the fact that he had shattered their conception of what it meant to be normal.

It is so easy to look at those who do not follow the norm of your particular society and label them with some fancy medical term, be it bipolar, insane, schizophrenic, depressed, having boundary issues or this or that. But I can assure you, that there are people in mental hospitals in this nation who are actually more in touch with reality than the average person. Certainly, there are also people in mental hospitals who are out of touch with reality and do not know what is real and unreal. But what I want you to see here is the fact that the average human being on this planet – the “normal” human being – truly has no conception whatsoever of what is real and what is unreal—and has indeed been programmed to think that this material world and the conditions that you see right now are real and normal, and therefore should be preserved.

Dare to go beyond the norms of your society

This, of course, is the programming of the power elite, who want people to uphold the status quo that maintains their privilege and their power. For once they have set themselves up in those positions of privilege and power, their main concern is not to lose it. And that is precisely why they seek to stop progress, they seek to stop new inventions, new ideas, new philosophies, new concepts. And when they cannot stop the emergence of new ideas, such as new ideas in spirituality and religion, well they seek to prevent the population from embracing those ideas by using the weapon that you have to be normal—and this new idea is not normal. It is a cult, it is bad, it is dangerous.

The message I want to get across here is that if you are to fulfill your divine plans, if you are to manifest your Christhood and do what you came here to do – namely help Saint Germain bring in the Golden Age of Aquarius – well then you have to take a long, hard look in the mirror and say, “Where am I attached to being normal, to following the norms defined by my society, my family, or even by my own outer mind or my ego?” You must evaluate whether you are more concerned about being seen as being normal by society or whether you are concerned about fulfilling your divine plan. Certainly, I am not talking about manifesting something that is clearly insane, for being the Christ does not mean that you are insane in any sense of the word. But it does mean that you are willing to go beyond the norm, and even to do things that for “normal” people might appear to be a little bit “out there,” as the popular saying goes.

Yet I am not asking you to be “out there,” I am actually asking you to be “in here,” in your heart, where you know what is real for you and for your mission—so that you do not allow any outside force to cause you to abort that mission, especially not the force of normality. As I explained earlier today, you cannot put the Holy Spirit in a box. It is not easy to come up with a standard for how the Holy Spirit should express itself in this world. And now you see an even deeper understanding, for when the Holy Spirit flows, it seeks to set people free from their mental boxes, and thus it must challenge their standard for what is normal.

We have explained many times, that you are who you think you are, because you are projecting an image based on your current sense of identity into the cosmic mirror, and the Ma-ter Light takes on the physical manifestation that corresponds to your image. When a critical mass of people in a society, or on the entire planet, have come to believe in a certain standard for what is normal human behavior, well then it will be very difficult for them to go beyond that standard—unless they see someone who is willing to defy the standard of normality. Not in an insane, crazy way but by shattering the boundaries, the limitations, that are set up by the norm.

Challenging the concept of a “normal human being”

What does it really mean to be normal? Well, it means that you accept boundaries for who you are, what you can be and how you can express yourself as long as you want to be an accepted member of society. The job of the Living Christ in embodiment is to challenge people’s sense of what is normal, which is what you saw Jesus do with his miracles and his words. Look at how even in the scriptures it is portrayed how people wanted him to be normal, to follow their standard, to not go too far beyond, to not push the envelope, push the limits for what was considered possible for a human being.

So you see, again, the incredible depth in the statement of Christ, “With men this is impossible, but with God all things are possible.” For you see that with men – with their human consciousness, with a standard for what is normal – well when you are in that state of consciousness, you must accept that there are boundaries and limitations for what can be achieved. And that is precisely what the power elite uses to maintain status quo by getting people to believe in the lie, that there are certain problems that cannot be solved, or even certain conditions – as I explained in my earlier discourses – that you have come to believe are natural, are normal, because nature simply is that way and there is nothing that can change it.

In reality, there is no norm, there is no standard. Why is this so, my beloved? Because the Creator has created billions of expressions of itself, each one of which is unique in God. If everyone is a unique individual with a unique God-given individuality and identity, well then how can there be a standard? How can there be a norm? How can there be norms in individuality? How can there be a standard in uniqueness?

Humankind can be put on a scale of consciousness that is like a pyramid, where there are various levels, just like you see at the Great Pyramid of Giza that has levels and steps. Each of those levels represents a certain state of consciousness. And at the lower levels of consciousness, the pyramid is the widest, meaning that there are more people at that lower level of consciousness. And as you go up higher, you find more and more aware people, until you reach the apex of the pyramid where you find the highest—the top 10 percent, or even those who are in the top 10 percent of the top 10 percent.

Yet, the entire pyramid is connected, and you will know that if you could lift up the pyramid of Giza by lifting at the top, you would lift the entire structure. And that means that when those in the top 10 percent raise their consciousness, they are not just pulling up one person below them. For below you is a greater number of people, and below them at the level down is an even greater number of people, for the pyramid widens as you go down. So when you pull yourself up, you pull on everyone who is below you, and therefore – suddenly – a shift can occur when enough people raise their own consciousness. This is the magic of individuality and the interconnectedness of individuals. And this is why the fallen ones, the serpentine mind, wants you to deny your individuality, so you do not even try to raise yourself up, so you believe that nothing you do could make a difference.

All of us who have made a difference in the world have started out from this simple premise. We changed ourselves. And once we had overcome the duality consciousness, well we could then go out and do outer things. But I tell you, there are many people around the world who are unknown to history who have never been known to the public and have never done any outer manifestation, but they have still raised their own consciousness and thereby raised up many other people who were below them in the pyramid of life. This is the greatest potential that cannot be stopped by the power elite—unless they can manage to stop the individuals at the top from starting the chain reaction by changing themselves by getting them to deny their individuality, their spiritual potential.

Deny not the God that is within you. Reject not that God. Do not take unto yourself the graven image of an external God, an external word, and worship that image as the true God. Instead, find the kingdom within you. Find the true God in that inner kingdom, and realize that your conscious self is an individualization of that God. And therefore, you have the potential to become more of that God in manifestation and thereby bring the kingdom of the true God to earth. Even the awareness of the true God, where people begin to see the reality that God is beyond any religion or man-made belief system.

I thank you for your attention. I thank you for your presence. I thank you for your presence on this continent. For I must tell you that this conference marks a turning point. Truly this was begun at the last conference in Europe. But at that conference, even though it was a victory, we did not achieve the critical mass that has been achieved at this conference. And therefore, we are eternally grateful for your willingness to be here. Not only be here physically but be here spiritually.

For you have created a momentum that will bring forth a greater opening of the minds of the people of Europe, so they have a greater opportunity than ever before to embrace a higher view of life. And as this momentum hopefully keeps expanding, it can indeed be one of the turning points, the key turning point, to raising the mindset of the European people, spreading beyond this continent by correcting the mistakes of the past, where ideologies and belief systems that came into the physical in Europe have spread to the world. That is why, indeed, the Europeans have a responsibility to correct these mistaken belief systems from the past, so that they can free the world from the influence of these false beliefs.

Therefore, once again, my gratitude. I commend you for your Being. And I seal you in the heart of the Living Jesus Christ with my immense gratitude for your willingness to even consider that you could follow in my footsteps. For that is my greatest desire—that all people would realize that I am an example, not an idol to worship.

I, Jesus, come again quickly to give you an understanding of how even a piece of music like you just heard can be used to further the passive approach to salvation by elevating me to the “Lord of lords” and the “King of kings” who shall reign forever and ever. Do you see, my beloved, that even though this music was divinely inspired and truly carries a vibration that is uplifting people, it is entirely possible that people can interpret the words to actually confirm the passive mindset that they cannot save themselves. For when you look at this song and these words through a traditional Christian mindset, you see me as up there in the sky. And you think that it is the Jesus that is up there in the sky, who will come to earth and reign over earth and reign over the kings, reign over everything and do everything for you.

I simply want to give you the greater understanding that this music is indeed worthy of listening to because it carries a vibration. But I ask you to listen to this music with the understanding that it is the inner Christ who is the Lord of lords and the King of kings. And it is the inner Christ who shall reign forever and ever, when that inner Christ is allowed to shine through the outer beings of people on earth and more than one person, namely many many people.

Do you see, my beloved? When you listen to this music with this greater understanding, you will not only gain a greater appreciation for it with the outer mind, but you will actually be able to absorb the radiation that is built into this music—that is actually being blocked by many people in the traditional Christian mindset, who cannot truly absorb what is being released in this magnificent music of Handel’s Messiah.

So I encourage those of you who love music – or perhaps even those of you who are not so fascinated by this classical music – to listen to Handel’s Messiah. Perhaps even lay down at night when it is dark and listen to it – with headphones if you need to, to avoid disturbing others – and simply absorb the vibration that comes through, especially when you know that it is the Christ in you who is the Lord of lords, the King of kings. For it is the Christ in you who is meant to be lord of your temple, king of your domain. And it is when you absorb and become one with that inner Christ that the Christ will reign forever and ever in your own being.

Ascended Master Jesus, April 6, 2007 through Kim Michaels.

Wherefore I say unto you, all manner of sin and blasphemy shall be forgiven unto men: but the blasphemy against the Holy Ghost shall not be forgiven unto men. And whosoever speaketh a word against the Son of man, it shall be forgiven him: but whosoever speaketh against the Holy Ghost, it shall not be forgiven him, neither in this world, neither in the world to come. (Mt 12:31-32)

So, my beloved, I, Jesus, am indeed also on the sixth ray of service. So I wanted to put in my two cents worth, as they say. For you see, what is true service to life? It is when you serve ALL life. And what does it mean to serve all life? Well, there is only one way to serve all life, and that is to flow with the Holy Spirit, which is precisely that force of God, that aspect of God, that is designed to accelerate all life so that all life becomes MORE.

Even though my words were ominous, given 2,000 years ago, they were designed that way because of the consciousness at the time. Where people were still so stuck in precisely what Nada identified as the false desire to serve the remote God, thinking it was the angry, judgmental being in the sky that they were serving through their religious activity. So here you have the scribes and the Pharisees strutting around like peacocks – feeling that they were holier than everybody else in Israel – serving God. Yet, in reality they were serving the false God. And that is precisely why I said that unless your righteousness exceeds the righteousness of the scribes and Pharisees, ye shall in no wise enter the kingdom (Matthew 5:20).

And why is this so? It is so because the scribes and Pharisees were trapped in the duality consciousness, and they saw themselves as separated from God. Because when you see God as the remote God, you obviously see God as being outside yourself and you as being outside of God. How can you possibly enter the kingdom of God, which is where?… [audience answers: “Within you.”] Within you. We will eventually get you to understand this, so that if I woke you up at four o’clock in the morning and said, “Where is the kingdom of God?” you would say “Within me.”

The illusion of serving the remote God

My Beloved, joking aside, this is the most serious matter you could possibly have to contemplate. For you see, ninety percent or more of the religious people on this planet are trapped in the illusion that what they are doing is serving God. But they are serving the remote God, they are trying to please the remote God, they are thinking that if they do outer things, in an outer religious activity, then the outer God will let them into the outer kingdom. And it is truly the broad way that leads to destruction—it simply cannot be done.

When you are trapped in that duality consciousness, you are trapped in the ego’s belief that if it does all the outer things right, then God will have to let it into the kingdom. This is such an integral illusion that the ego will never be able to see it as a fallacy. This is precisely why we have given you the teaching that there is a part of you, the Conscious You that is more than the ego and that can separate itself from the ego.

As long as you identify with the ego, you will not be willing to come up higher, to become MORE. Because you want to cling to the illusion that as long as you stay in this outer Church – and do these activities that you have decided will get you to heaven – then God will have to accept you. And the ego will not let go of this illusion, because it knows that if you were to see through this illusion, then you would no longer need the ego and the ego would die. So the ego believes that it is a matter of life and death to make you cling to this illusion. And as long as you identify with the ego, you too think it is a matter of life and death or a matter of salvation or damnation—the difference between going to heaven or going to hell.

I am not saying that the scribes and the Pharisees were evil people. I did not call them evil; I called them hypocrites because they thought they were serving God, and they were not willing to recognize the reality that they were not serving God—or rather they were not serving the Living God who is in all. This is the reality that I came to demonstrate to them through words and deeds and even by my Presence. They would have none of it, for they were not willing to let go of their egos. They were not willing to let that mortal self die on the cross, so they could be reborn. That is why Nicodemus could not understand me when I said that unless a man be born of water and of spirit, he cannot enter the kingdom (John 3:3).
