Overcoming the fear of being nobody

Ascended Master Jesus, June 17, 2012 through Kim Michaels.

Of course, I know well that many of you first have to go through a stage where you deal with your fear, the fear that has been programmed into you. What happens when you withdraw from the system, when you are no longer in the corporate boxes? Certainly, the duality consciousness has created a very heavy programming. Do you not see that they offer you something beyond a financially secure existence? They offer you a sense of superiority, but this means that if you withdraw from this corporate rat race, then you are inferior, you are nobody. “What are you doing these days? You quit your job, what are you doing?” Who are you when you are no longer in the corporate little box that defines you and every aspect of your creative expression?

Some of you will have to look at this fear and look at why you feel this way. Why do you believe these programmings that say that you are nobody or you are inferior if you do not live up to these expectations. My beloved, I am not hereby suggesting that you should now all go out and quit your jobs. What I am saying is this: If you become more aware of questioning the beliefs that make your current situation seem real and unavoidable, there can come a point where you do not have to withdraw from your situation as such. You naturally see other opportunities open up and then you shift into them.

Of course, it must also be said that before you can see the creative opportunities, something in you has to die and that is the consciousness that caused you to identify with your previous situation. As we have said, you build a certain sense of self, you build a certain identity, a certain role for yourself, and you project the conscious you into it. But there is a difference between the role and your outer situation.

You do not necessarily have to quit a job or leave your family in order to shift to a higher level. But you do have be willing to look at the sense of identity you have and then let that identity die, even if your ego is screaming at you that you will be plunged into a vacuum, that you will be a nobody, that you will be inferior, that you will not have any existence. You still have to let that sense of identity die before you can have the clarity of vision, the emptiness of mind, to see the new opportunities into which you can shift.

A no-man’s land

Sometimes you can indeed get caught in a no-man’s land where you have seen the unreality of your outer situation. You are no longer completely convinced that this is the way things have to be, but you have not yet let go of the sense of identity, the role you had built for yourself. Thus, you cannot see the new opportunity as of yet, and so you have to be willing to question your sense of identity and be willing to do what I said: Those who seek to save their lives – save their sense of identity – shall lose it. Those who are willing to give up their lives for my sake, they will see the new opportunities opening up.

This is indeed the path to Christhood where you begin to question the reality of the appearances that make you believe that you, as an infinite Spirit, you have to adapt yourself to finite appearances. What have I said before is the one thing I want you to be able to remember even if I woke you up at 4 o’clock in the morning: That which is unreal has no power over that which is real. Well, that which is infinite has no obligation to fit itself into finite appearances.

Of course, you are all in a physical body, you all have situations that you adapt to, but I am not talking about outer behavior, I am talking about identification. You are all in embodiment, you all have your families to take care of and this is perfectly right, but you do not have to identify with that role so you think there is nothing else.

Some of you might have small children and you feel like you never have time for yourself. Nevertheless, if you will look at the sense of identity you have built as a parent, you might find that if you question that identity, there is always time for yourself here and there. Certainly, you will shift your view and you will see that you can find time for yourself even in a busy schedule. It is all a matter of perspective.

When you are in the immersion experience, you think everything is real and nothing is a matter of perspective. When you go into the awakening experience, you begin to see: “Ah, this thing is not real, this thing is a matter of perspective. And if I do shift my perspective, then either the outer circumstances will change or my approach to them will change. Suddenly my life experience will change where I no longer feel limited by these circumstances.

As you go further and further into the awakening experience, you do begin to see and even accept that nothing on earth is real and everything is a matter of perspective, of perception. This is the deeper reality that we have all attempted to teach, depending on the situation and the level of consciousness in which we appeared in a physical form that people could see.

A critical initiation on the path

Ascended Master Saint Germain, December 29, 2011 through Kim Michaels.

In most cases, you will not understand why it is the right step, my beloved! For there is a critical initiation that all of you must face on the spiritual path. It is the willingness to take a step in a certain direction without knowing what lies two steps ahead. You are willing to move one step forward, and then see where that takes you.

This is a critical initiation, that you will see embodied in the lives of most spiritual teachers, including the life of Jesus, the life of Saint Joseph, where I served as the physical father of Jesus, and the life of Mother Mary, who served that as the physical mother of Jesus. None of us had planned to give birth to a child with the Christ potential. But yet, when the spirit called us, we followed it.

And now you see the result of that, but you also need to see that we, when we were in physical embodiment, were not special. We were not different from you! You may look back, and you may think that Mother Mary and Joseph had some visitations from angels and some elaborate vision that you do not have, but it is not so, my beloved.

We were in physical embodiment. Our vision was as limited as many of yours is. Therefore, we did not have a clear vision of what lay ahead. We did not know everything about Jesus and his mission and his potential. But we felt the calling of the Spirit, we moved with it and that is how we won our victory. That is how you will win your victory.

Not by knowing everything that will happen from this point on till the day you ascend. But by being willing to tune in to the Spirit, follow its directions, take that next step on your path. And then take the next and the next and the next, until you one day look back and say: “I could never in my outer mind have imagined what has happened in my life in the past five, ten or twenty years. I could never have imagined it. And if an angel had appeared to me and had told me what would happen, I would most likely have said, ‘Nay that is impossible, that could never be.'”

But now you see that because you were willing to take one step at a time, then it was possible. And now you have come so far beyond where you were five, ten or twenty years ago, and your life has taken on an entirely new dimension. And this, of course, is what you will see can happen, not only in your individual lives but also on a larger scale, in a nation or on the world scale.

Serving to raise up all life

Ascended Master Jesus, January 3, 2011 through Kim Michaels.

Those who truly manifest Christhood, cross a very subtle threshold in their own minds. This threshold is where you realize that although you have raised your state of consciousness beyond the level of the average person, it is not your true purpose to be seen as an idol by human beings. Your true purpose is to inspire others to do what you have done, so that instead of you continuing to raise yourself up to greater and greater heights of being idolized by human beings, you will instead seek to raise up others.

This is why I took on 12 disciples, as the Bible describes. Yet the reality is that I had many more disciples than the 12, for I had people I worked with on a more irregular basis, but some of them did indeed make more progress than the 12 disciples. And the reason was, of course, that each of the 12 of my official disciples represented one of the tribes of Israel, and thus the disciple’s ability to transcend was somewhat dependent on the collective willingness of the group they represented.

Nevertheless, the point that I want to make here is this: there are many people on this planet who have reached this crucial turning point on the path. Where they have attained some insight, some attainment, even some openness to the flow of the Spirit through them, and they now face this very subtle choice. Will they use this to try to set themselves up and gain a position, fame, respect, recognition—or will they become completely selfless in their service to life?

Will they attempt to use the flow of the Presence to reinforce the spiritualized ego that they have created, or will they be willing to let that ego die, so that they can become the completely open door? That does not seek to get the Presence and the flow of the Spirit to validate and raise up the ego, but instead allows the Spirit and the Presence to raise up all life in whatever way the Presence and the Spirit sees fit to do so.

You can always accelerate beyond your current state of consciousness

Ascended Master Serapis Bey, December 18, 2009 through Kim Michaels.

I come not to condemn anyone. I come to extend my flame of the fourth ray of purity to everyone who is willing to accept it. But it is not enough for you to simply surrender, which is, as I explained in Lourdes, the Omega aspect. You must also be willing to be the Alpha aspect and use the powers you have in your mind to accelerate yourself beyond your current state of consciousness, your current perception, your current sense of self-worth. For I tell you, you do have – right now inside your heart, inside your being – the power to accelerate your sense of self beyond its current level.

You have that power. As we have said, you are a conscious self, a conscious being, a conscious extension of the Creator’s Being. You have the ability to create and to take on any sense of identity that you wish to experience, any sense of identity through which you wish to experience the world of form. But the reality is, that you have created and you have placed yourself, your conscious self, into your current sense of identity. You may have been fooled into going into a lower sense of identity by one of the epic dramas, but the reality is, that you did this through your own choosing and through your own power.

And it is only when you acknowledge and realize this, that you will take back your power—to use the very same power that got you to your current level, to then accelerate yourself beyond it. Do you understand? You are where you are today because you have used your co-creative power to decelerate your sense of identity and your vibration. This was not done by some evil power outside yourself, even though you may have tied into an evil power outside yourself, a momentum of impurity built by other lifestreams. Nevertheless, your sense of identity was decelerated only by your own power, which means that you still have the power to accelerate your sense of identity beyond its current level.

Therefore, what I offer you is this. Begin to observe yourself, your reactions to the situations you encounter in daily life. And then, when you see a reaction in yourself, that takes you away from peace – an attachment you have, something you have that causes stress, strain, and suffering – and look at it, ask me to help you see it more clearly. Work on surrendering whatever you see. But when you see a condition that takes away your peace, then also be willing to go in your heart, in your heart chakra, to connect to pure consciousness, the pure consciousness that is the core of your being. And then, from that level of pure consciousness, as best you can feel and see it right now, then simply say right to that condition: “Accelerate into Purity! Accelerate into Purity! Accelerate into Purity! Accelerate into Purity!”

And then allow yourself to feel how there is a point in your heart chakra, that is the open door to the light of purity of your I AM Presence. And when you say those words, whether silently or aloud, you feel how the light from your I AM Presence streams through that point, that nexus point, that singularity in your heart. And it streams into the condition, and it accelerates the condition and it accelerates your perception of it, so that even if the condition persists, your perception is accelerated, where you see that it no longer has power over you, for it can no longer define your identity. And thus, you know, that even if the condition persists, you can still be at peace. For you are more than this, and therefore you have no need to be attached to the condition or allow yourself to think, that it has power over your sense of identity. This is the reality of how the ascension spiral starts for anyone.

No progress without experimentation

Ascended Master Jesus, January 4, 2009 through Kim Michaels.

As a scientist you can conduct an experiment. And if you are trying to make a light bulb, then the experiment might turn out that you create the light bulb or it might turn out that you do not. But either way you make progress, because now you know which will work and now you know which will not work. And that then enables you to move on and try other materials that might work until you find the right one. But how can you as a scientist make any kind of progress if you refuse to have “failed” experiments?

If you seek knowledge and understanding until you feel you know everything and can never make a mistake, well then, my beloved, the world might just have ascended before you are ready to speak out. [Laughter] For I tell you, the world will not wait until you have overcome your fears of speaking out.

Which is why I walked up to my disciples 2,000 years ago and said, “Leave your nets and follow me.” And if they did not follow me, then they were left behind, entangled in those nets. And so, let me tell you that the greatest mistake – if you want to talk in terms of mistakes – that you can make – one might even say the only mistake you can make – is not to dare to experiment, not to dare to speak out.

I can tell you, my beloved, that when souls pass from the screen of life and into the spiritual realm and meet their spiritual teachers and have a life review of what they accomplished or did not accomplish in their latest embodiment, the universal, greatest regret that people have is what they did not do, did not say, what they left undone, what they left unsaid. It is not the mistakes they made; it is the opportunities that were lost because they were too afraid to act or speak. That is why I told my disciples not to hide their light but to shout it from the housetops.

You must TRY

My Beloved, this messenger has grown immensely in the last few years, where he has been doing the Ask Real Jesus website, which then implies that he was far from perfect when he started it and is certainly not perfect now. But by being willing – even though he was aware of certain imperfections – to still put himself out there, he has learned more than he could ever have learned by staying in his little comfortable sphere and studying until he had reached some state of “perfection.”

My Beloved, you all know it, because you all learned to ride a bicycle. And you did not learn it by watching a video on YouTube or reading the instruction manual. [Laughter] You only learned it by getting on the bike, falling down a few times—until you suddenly got the hang of it, and now it became automatic.

And likewise, when you start speaking, there will come a point where it does not become automatic—it actually becomes creative because now the higher being that you are, the infinitely creative Being that you are, will begin to express itself through you. And you will say things that you are surprised to hear from yourself because you had not thought of them before they were said. But you see, had you not opened your mouth, would those ideas have come into your head? Nay, they would not, my beloved, for this is the essence of service—that you seek to help others by giving. And in so giving, you receive.

The gap between your consciousness and the consciousness of the teacher

Ascended Master El Morya, May 27, 2006 through Kim Michaels.

I am fully aware that some of you either do not know what your God Flame is, or you might understand it intellectually but you have still not established that heart connection to it. I ask you to consider that the central challenge on the spiritual path is very simple. The path implies that you are at a particular step and you need to move up to the next step. In other words, there is a gap between where you are now and where you need to go. So the central challenge on the spiritual path is how to close that gap. And for many people it can seem insurmountable.

One of the major tactics employed by the dark forces and the ego, is to create the illusion that it is impossible for you to bridge the gap. They have used Jesus as a primary example in the West, but in every religion there has been created this monster of idolatry concerning the leader or leaders of that religion. Jesus was so special, was so far above everyone else that how can you possibly close the gap between your present level of consciousness and the superior level of consciousness that Jesus demonstrated. The same thing with many leaders of many organizations.

There are indeed many gurus and teachers in this world today who are not necessarily false gurus—they are well-meaning individuals, they have attained a certain spiritual attainment, perhaps even certain abilities. Yet if they do not understand the dynamics of the path, they often teach essentially by saying, “Look how advanced I am. Come up to my level!” But they do not provide a step-by-step path between where people are at in consciousness and where they are at themselves.

If these individuals are not aware of this, and are yet too focused on themselves – meaning they have not truly let go of the self-centeredness but they have a little bit of ego left – then even though they have genuine spiritual attainment, and they actually have the ability to help people grow spiritually, they have not yet bridged the gap between their own attainment and the attainment of those they teach. And thus, even though they might give a genuine teaching, it is actually a false teaching in the sense that it discourages those who accept the teaching because they think they cannot bridge the gap between their consciousness and the consciousness of the teacher. Because they see no logical step-by-step path between their level and the level demonstrated by the teacher.

A fundamental problem for spiritual teachers

And this then brings you to another understanding of the spiritual path, an essential dynamic of the path that even we of the ascended masters cannot circumvent as long as people are trapped in the ego. For you see, how can we make anyone motivated to follow the spiritual path unless we demonstrate to them that there is an advantage to following that path? We do that by giving people examples who demonstrate a higher level of consciousness, perhaps certain abilities that are beyond the ordinary. And yet, the ego can then use this to create that aura of idolatry, or infallibility, around the leaders, which makes it seem impossible for others to bridge the gap and attain the same consciousness as the leader.

Yet my beloved, for many years we have said, “What one human being has done, all can do, all can attain.” And thus, I ask you to seriously ponder whether you have – in your own being – some element that makes you look at the ascended masters, or anybody in embodiment that you consider to be more spiritually advanced than yourself, and think, “Oh, I couldn’t possibly do that, I couldn’t possibly attain that.” And then I ask you to recognize that if you see this, it can only come from the ego. It cannot come from a realistic assessment from the Christ Mind because the Christ knows, as Jesus said, “With men this is impossible, but with God, all things are possible.” And thus you see, you of your own self could not bridge the gap but God within you can indeed bridge that gap.

We of the ascended masters are constantly attempting to come up with ways and means to help people bridge the gap. And many spiritual people have used certain mechanical tools to get answers from beyond the lower mind. Yet I ask you again, as we have said before, to keep in mind that every tool we give you can become a trap, if you become too attached to it and think that you should be able to get all your answers in a specific way. And thus, I desire you to recognize that every tool we give you as a means to an end must not become an end in itself, for in that case it is no longer helping you to grow but only helping to keep you trapped.

Understanding the transition from self-centered growth to Christhood

Ascended Master Jesus, August 24, 2008 through Kim Michaels.

This never has been – and never will be, and never can be – a collective path. You can form a community, and you can help each other, but you must go each one individually. For each one individually must establish that contact to his or her Christ Self and I AM Presence and spiritual teacher. For only when that vertical degree of oneness is there, can there be true horizontal oneness.

Even those on the sporting teams of the world, or those who are individually striving for excellence, are in a sense on the path of personal growth – of raising up that separate self above the multitude – so that they can earn the potential to turn that separate self towards a higher quest. Many of the people that you have seen at these Olympic games are indeed people who have risen above that collective consciousness of the multitudes and manifested a stronger sense of individuality. Many of them have made great personal sacrifices in order to excel in their sport, setting aside many normal endeavors. And this has caused them to develop great self-discipline, great focus, great dedication to a cause, that can indeed be turned into a higher pursuit of going beyond seeking to raise the separate self.

I can tell you, that many of the people who have tasted this excellence in the sporting world will – during this lifetime – come to realize, that even though they were caught up in this pursuit of excellence and competition – even though it gave them a great adrenalin rush, a great sense of accomplishment, even superiority – it still left them empty. It still left them wanting more. It still made it difficult for them to come back to an “ordinary life” after they could no longer excel in their sport.

Some of them will indeed go beyond that stage of the warrior consciousness, to the beginning stages of the consciousness of the sage, who begins to look for something more than this world can offer. For you see, when you have stood in a sporting arena and had billions of people focus their attention upon you – through the television – well, then you have indeed, in a certain sense, tasted some of the highest of what this world can offer, in terms of giving attention to the separate self.

And then, when the conscious self begins to realize, that this was not enough, that there has to be something more, well, then the lifestream has the potential to engage in the true path to Christhood—of seeking not to raise up itself for the sake of raising itself, but seeking to raise up its separate self in order to go beyond that separate self and use its attainment and accomplishment to serve the All. So that the ultimate stand-out individual is indeed the one who gives the greatest service. For did I not say, that he who would be greatest among you should be the servant of all?

In their next embodiment, many of these sporting stars will indeed become more spiritual and will begin to walk the spiritual path in earnest. Some of you who are walking the spiritual path today have indeed tasted that fame or glory in past lifetimes, whether through sports, through wars, politics, or in other fields of human endeavor, such as the arts. This is a perfectly natural part of the evolution of an individual. Of course, I look to you, who have come to a conscious awareness of the spiritual path, to go beyond this and to see that there is something beyond these outer pursuits of material excellence—and that is spiritual excellence. Which is not as some of you still think – dedicated to raising up the separate self, but to raising up the All in service to all life.

The high and the low road

What I am telling you here is, indeed, that many of the people who make up the bottom 10 percent, as we call them, are indeed also people who have walked this path of raising their individual sense of self beyond the multitudes. Even before you can – so to speak – excel in the control games, in the money-making games, well, you still have to attain some individuality—to even have that drive for power, for control or for money, concentrated in the hands of one person.

When an individual being reaches beyond the consciousness of the multitude, it has the potential to find the path of personal Christhood. But it also has the potential to find the left-handed path – not the broad way that leads to destruction that is taken by the multitudes – but the false path, the path of anti-christ, of indeed using one’s attainment to raise up that separate self for the glorification of the separate self or some material cause.

Some of the people who have attained great power or great money on this planet, have indeed walked that path of first raising the separate self on the path of personal growth, but then turning it into the left-handed path, the path of anti-christ, of using their attainment to attain power and glory for the separate self. If you want examples, look to China, to the chairman Mao Tse-Tung, who was an example of this. Look to North Korea, look to the former Soviet Union—Stalin and Lenin. Look to Hitler. Look to Napoleon, who had the opportunity to work with Saint Germain, but ultimately took the left-handed path.

Look to many other world leaders who have taken that path. And then learn from their example, and realize that even you, who are the spiritual students – even you who are students of my course in Christhood – face that initiation—that very subtle initiation, where you know you have great attainment, where you know you have reached a high level in terms of raising up your individual self. But now the question is, will you then take the path of continuing to raise the separate self for the sake of the separate self, or will you take the path of Christ, where you realize the truth in my statement—that he who seeks to save his life shall lose it, he who seeks to save that separate self shall eventually lose it. But he who is willing to lay down that life, that separate self, for the sake of following Christ, shall indeed find the eternal life through the Spirit of Oneness with all life. This is the challenge that all of you face, this is the challenge to which I call you in my course to Christhood.

Welcome the big decisions

Ascended Master Presence of Victory, July 3, 2005 through Kim Michaels.

When you recognize this consciously, and have the momentum of love, you can let it go without the suffering, the pain, the going back and forth, the arguing with yourself, reasoning whether you should do this or that. Instead, it just drops from you.

You keep your eye on Christ, and you follow Christ. And before you know it, you look back and you say, “But that wasn’t such a big decision—why did it seem so hard at the time?” And when you have done this a number of times, you build the momentum of victory. And now you see the decision coming. You welcome it instead of resisting it. And because you are not resisting it, you do what Jesus said at Easter—you own it.

You own the condition that you need to surrender. And when you fully own it, and are no longer resisting it, then you can let it go with ease. And it drops as the scales fall from the eyes of those who are blind. It drops away, and you see the new day. And suddenly, you are spiritually reborn into a new sense of self. And did not Jesus tell Nicodemus that unless a man is reborn, he cannot enter the kingdom of heaven (John 3:1). And this truly is a spiritual rebirth, and not the physical rebirth that Nicodemus – as a symbol for the human consciousness – could envision.

Let it go! Let it drop. Learn to recognize when it is time to take a major leap forward on your path—and then take it with joy. Welcome it. Anticipate it. See it as the doorway to a greater freedom, the freedom of a new sense of self as a co-creator with God, basking in the Light of the God of Freedom for the earth—Saint Germain. Basking in the radiance of the love of Jesus, who is your forerunner on the path. And basking in the warm glow of the love of Mary, who is there to congratulate you any time you take that step higher. And I, too, will greet you when you make those important decisions. And I will respectfully let Mary get there first, for I know that my time will come.

Let the Living Christ call you

Ascended Master Presence of Victory, July 3, 2005 through Kim Michaels.

Truly, study how Jesus called his disciples. Imagine yourself going about your business in your daily life, and suddenly a person comes up to you with intense, burning eyes and says, “Leave your nets and follow me!” And then he turns around and walks away without looking back.

When you are at a plateau, where you need to step up to a higher level, then – in some form or another – the teacher will come to you, be it within or without, perhaps as a person, perhaps as a book, perhaps as a voice in your head that you know is the true voice. And that teacher will say, “Leave your nets and follow me!” And that is all he will say. Not necessarily in those exact words but he will give you a clear instruction that cannot be misunderstood or misinterpreted.

The question is, “What are you going to do?” Are you going to follow the teacher, even though you do not know where the path leads you? Or are you going to cling to what is familiar and ask for guarantees or time to prepare. You see, the eternal motto of the ascended masters is that when the student is ready, the teacher appears. So when that situation does happen to you, you are ready at inner levels. Your ego, of course, is not ready – and doesn’t think you are ready – and will come up with a million excuses of why you are not ready and why you should not follow this person, or this teacher or this voice inside of you.

Yet I must tell you that when Jesus called his disciples, he did call more than 12 disciples. And not all of them heeded the call. But those who did heed the call did so because they instantly followed Christ. They did not think, they did not plan, they did not prepare, they did not look back. They simply dropped their nets and they followed Jesus.

There will come a point, where you will need to do this to step up to a higher level. This messenger, many years ago, had a discussion with a minister in a Lutheran Church. And this very topic of how Jesus called his disciples was brought up. And the minister, who supposedly represented Christ, said, “Oh, I am sure the disciples had a long time to prepare to follow Jesus. They had at least a year to get their things in order.” And this shows you the state of consciousness of orthodox Christianity today.

They have taken out the essence of the guru-student, the master-disciple, relationship. They have put Jesus on a pedestal. And in order to do so, they have also elevated his disciples, so that they could follow Christ directly, but you cannot—because you are miserable sinner, so you need to follow the outer Church instead of following the Living Christ.

Stages on the path of Christhood

As has been explained in other sections, the path of Christhood is not a “quick-fix” process. It is a lifetime commitment and the path has several stages. This section talks about the different stages and how to move from one to the next.

This section contains articles on the following topics:

Let the Living Christ call you

  • When you are at a plateau, where you need to step up to a higher level, the teacher will come to you.
  • The teacher tells you to leave something behind and follow him.
  • This is the big decision that determines your progress on the path.
  • Jesus called more than 12 disciples.
  • Christianity has taken out the guru-chela relationship.

Read more about this.

Welcome the big decisions

  • There are certain big decisions on the path.
  • By owning a condition, you make it easier to make big decisions.
  • Learn to recognize when it is time to take a major leap forward on your path—and then take it with joy.

Read more about this.

Understanding the transition from self-centered growth to Christhood

  • You can form a community, and you can help each other, but you must walk the path individually.
  • When you have had enough of the things of this world, you can realize that your true inner longing is for Christhood.
  • The path of anti-christ is using one’s attainment to raise up that separate self for the glorification of the separate self or some material cause.
  • Are you willing to lay down that life, that separate self, for the sake of following Christ.

Read more about this.

The gap between your consciousness and the consciousness of the teacher

  • The central challenge on the spiritual path is how to close the gap between where you are now and where you need to go.
  • One of the major tactics employed by the dark forces and the ego, is to create the illusion that it is impossible for you to bridge the gap.
  • In order to motivate us to walk the path, the masters must give us examples, such as Jesus.
  • The ego can use that to create an aura of idolatry, or infallibility, around the leaders, which makes it seem impossible for others to bridge the gap and attain the same consciousness as the leader.
  • You of your own self could not bridge the gap but God within you can indeed bridge that gap.

Read more about this.

  • Then you go through the higher stages of Christhood where you not only react, but act.
  • The closer you are to the higher stages of Christhood and the first stages of Buddhahood, the more of an impact you will have and the fewer people it takes to shift an entire nation.
