What was Jesus like? Main Page

Mainstream Christianity has made Jesus seem distant, almost like a non-person with no individuality. How did Jesus actually behave and what was his personality? Did he behave only like the scriptures say? Did he behave the way mainstream Christianity has portrayed him? Or was he perhaps entirely different?

This section contains articles on the following topics:

Jesus also suffered and had frustrations

• Many people volunteer to take on a certain karmic burden in order to help the planet progress.

• Once you are in embodiment, it is easy to rebel against this choice and become stuck like Peter.

• We can avoid this by realizing that Jesus also suffered and was frustrated and distraught.

• Jesus followed the same path we are following and it was not any easier for him than it is for us.

• Yet the fact that Jesus made it demonstrates that we too can make it by surrendering tot he choices we made before coming into embodiment.

Was Jesus a complete ego-maniac?

  • According to the image given by mainstream Christianity, Jesus was in all ways special compared to us.

  • Only a mystical interpretation of his teachings and life can help us see how he came to show us our true potential for reaching a higher state of consciousness.
