| This is a huge website. To get started, choose an introduction based on your background: |
|
| The
traditional Christian You are from a traditional or fundamentalist background. If Jesus has anything to say today, it must conform to the Bible or the doctrines of your church. If you had lived 2,000 years ago, you would have instantly recognized Jesus. |
|
| The
open-minded Christian You are from a Christian background, but you have realized that there might be a deeper meaning to the teachings of Jesus. Some things might have been taken out of Jesus’ original teachings and his message might have been distorted in various ways. |
|
| The
disappointed Christian You have abandoned churches and cannot identify with mainstream Christianity. You are disappointed by the difference between what they preach and what they do. Yet you cannot completely forget Jesus and feel there might be more to know about him. |
|
| The
New Ager You are a New Age person, more interested in other teachings than Christianity. You have generally ignored Jesus, but you sometimes wonder if there is a deeper meaning behind his teachings. |
|
| The
seeker You are a spiritual seeker who recognizes no particular church or philosophy as superior. You seek truth wherever it can be found and refuse to limit your search to any system. You are always looking for spiritual techniques and tools that will enhance your growth. |
|
| The
practical realist You know you have a problem and you are not afraid to admit it. You might feel burdened by negative energy or need psychological healing. You might be looking for a sense of meaning and purpose. Or you might be looking for solutions to very specific life problems. |
|
| The
mystic You are always looking for the deeper meaning behind outer religions, the mysteries that cannot be found in orthodox doctrines. You are interested in the true, inner meaning of Jesus’ teachings and how it helps your personal path. |
|
| The
materialist You have grown up in a scientific culture and you used to reject all religion. Yet you have started wondering whether there might be something more to life, a deeper meaning or a sense of purpose. Is there perhaps an approach to spirituality that is suited for scientifically minded people? |
|
| The
non-Christian You are from a non-Christian religion and you have often been offended by the aggressive manners of Christian preachers and their disrespect for other religions. Yet you wonder whether Jesus himself was really that kind of a preacher? |
|
| The
global thinker You are aware that we live at a special time when the entire planet is going through a spiritual transformation. You know it is up to us to raise our consciousness and prevent natural disasters and other forms or wars. You know the potential for a Golden Age of unprecedented progress, and you want to do your part. |

Consider two questions:1. If you had an incomplete understanding of Jesus and his teachings, would you want to know? 2. If Jesus could talk to humankind today, would you want to hear what he has to say? Why do so many Christians refuse to consider that Jesus could be talking to humankind today?
Comments on Question 1:
Most people
– Christians, ex-Christians and non-Christians – are aware
that Christianity has changed over the past 2,000 years. Yet few are
aware of the extent to which Jesus’ original message has been
"lost in translation" or actually lost.
The brutal fact is that religion has often become a tool for suppressing the people, and the key to this suppression is the concept that people need an outer religion, church or priesthood in order to reach God, attain knowledge or be saved. Jesus came to expose the fallacy of this idea, which is why he challenged the religious establishment of his time and why they killed him. Jesus directly stated that you can enter the spiritual realm only from within yourself:
If this idea rings true to you, please explore the vast teachings on this website. You will discover a new depth to the teachings of Jesus and how relevant they are to all spiritual seekers in the modern age.
