Question: In the case of healing of the withered arm, is the Bible account true? What went through Jesus' consciousness to persuade God to heal? Did healing come directly from God or through other beings?

Answer from Jesus:

The discourses by the Presence of Infinite Light and Mother Mary talk about how the healing of the withered arm took place. As you attain a higher degree of Christhood, you will begin to see the pure light of God behind all imperfect appearances. You will then develop the ability to command this light to outpicture only the perfect vision of Christ—and you will have that vision.

The light of the body is the eye: if therefore thine eye be single, thy whole body shall be full of light. (Matthew 6:22)

In other words, I knew it was possible to heal the arm, and I also knew it was correct to do so, meaning that the person's karmic conditions and divine plan allowed for the healing. Therefore, I did not have to persuade God to heal. I tuned in to God's desire to heal, and I allowed myself to be the open door for bringing about God's desire.

This healing was an example of my saying, “My Father worketh hitherto, and I work” (John 5:17). I called upon the Presence of Infinite Light to take command over the light substance that made up the withered arm. Yet my call and my power of vision was a necessary ingredient to create the change in the material universe. Take note that I clearly stated:

Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that believeth on me, the works that I do shall he do also; and greater works than these shall he do; because I go unto my Father. (John 14:12)

As you put on your individual Christhood, you too can take command over the light substance that currently outpictures so many imperfect appearances on Earth. You can command that light to return to the perfect vision of Christ. When you have attained a sufficient level of Christhood, and when you make a decision to exercise the authority of that Christhood, the Ma-ter light will comply with your command. Therefore, if you command a mountain to move, it will indeed move. Yet I do suggest that there are many imperfect conditions on Earth that are far more important targets for your exercise of Christhood than moving around mountains.
