Question: When will the WHOLE TRUTH about Original Sin be revealed to the general public? The traditional teaching is that "original sin" was a test of obedience. (At least that's what the established organized religions have used to keep the masses behind a wall of fear.)
I now see that "the knowledge of good and evil" was God's warning to NOT JUDGE. Non-judgment is another word for Unconditional Love. So "original sin" was mankind's fall from grace when we started judging ourselves and others.
Most Christians are going through the process of forgiving themselves. When will we get to step 2 - the forgiveness of others?
When Jesus said "Father, forgive them..." wasn't He giving us an EXAMPLE to follow to overcome original sin (judgment)?
Am I the only person who "sees" this? Is it my destiny to bring this TRUTH into the mass consciousness of mankind? Will I have help in fulfilling this mission? Should I let go and Let God take care of spreading the truth about His warning?

Any insight will be greatly appreciated.
Thanks! Rev. S. S. P.

Answer from Jesus:

The whole truth will be revealed to the general public when the general public is ready to hear the whole truth. To fully understand original sin, you must accept the reality of reincarnation because only then can you realize that God has not made you responsible for the choices made by Adam and Eve. Your soul made choices that caused it to become separated from God, and therefore it is up to you to make the choices that will bring you back to union with God. No one can do this for you, not God, not the Son of God and not even the devil—although he claims that he can.

To accept the reality of this "do-it-yourself" salvation, souls must be willing to take responsibility for themselves and for their own salvation. This was the essence of the message that I came to bring to this planet, namely that you made the choices that created your present situation and that you can rise above it by making better choices—choices based on the Christ mind.

Because people have free will, I cannot tell you when the general public will be ready to take responsibility for their situation and salvation. If Christianity had not taken a detour into a fear-based approach to religion, it would have happened centuries ago. As it is, it could be a while before the general population is ready to understand the whole truth about original sin.

You are quite right that many churches have used the concept of original sin, combined with a fear-based approach to religion, in order to trap people behind walls of fear. Such walls of fear obviously are not designed to spread the truth that I came to bring to this planet. They are designed to promote the power of a particular church organization and the elite running that organization. As I explained elsewhere, this was never the intent of the Ascended Host.

You are quite right that judgment is related to the topic of original sin. However, there are deeper layers of understanding, and I have already commented on those in the answer to another question.

You are also right that non-judgment is related to unconditional love. Yet I must caution that unconditional love is not blind. There are many people today who seem to believe that non-judgment and unconditional love mean the uncritical acceptance of anything. You can find many of these people in the New Age movement and you can find many of them in Christian churches. Such people have created a picture of me as being a touchy-feely Master who accepted all people uncritically.

If you read the scriptures carefully, you will see that while I extended great love to some people, I was very direct in challenging the misdeeds and the erroneous beliefs of others. I was very direct in challenging the lawyers who had perverted the truth of God and used it to create an elitist religion that kept people trapped in the bonds of fear. This does not mean that I did not love these people. It means that I did not express to such people what most people call love.

In reality, I did express love toward the scribes and the lawyers, but it was a very tough love that challenged their erroneous beliefs and compelled them to come up higher. It was a love that would not leave people trapped in their lower state of consciousness and therefore compelled me to help them come up higher, even if it meant that they would hate and attack me for doing so. You see unconditional love means an unconditional and uncompromising commitment to the growth of every soul, so that no soul is left behind in the consciousness that causes souls to be trapped in the illusion that they are separated from their source.

This is a point that many Christians have not understood. You will see from the Bible that I told people not to judge, yet I also said that God has given it to the Son to judge and that my judgments are true. The true meaning behind this is that the knowledge of good and evil, mentioned in Genesis, refers to a state of consciousness. Throughout this website I call this state of consciousness for the carnal mind, and I explain that it is characterized by two polar opposites, namely relative good and evil. As long as people are caught in this state of consciousness, their judgments can never be true because they will always be based on a relative standard, a man-made standard, for what is good and evil.

Only when you rise above the relativity of the carnal mind and attain the true perspective of the Christ mind, can you see beyond relative good and evil. You can then see the truth, meaning that you can see what is in alignment with the reality of God and what is out of alignment with that reality. You can then judge the true judgments based on the Christ mind.
In other words, a Christed being is not a person who unconditionally agrees with everything that people do, say or believe. A Christed being is a person who has an uncompromising commitment to help people rise above their limitations, including the relative beliefs that spring from the carnal mind. A Christed being has an unconditional love for the growth of every soul, and therefore the Christed being simply cannot leave people in a state of ignorance, meaning as state in which they cannot see the truth of God because they are caught in a relative man-made “truth.” Therefore, the Christed being is willing to make himself unpopular with people by challenging their beliefs about what life and God is like.

The main characteristic of the carnal mind is that it causes people to build a mental image of themselves, the world and God. This is the idol, the graven image, spoken of in the Ten Commandments. Most people have fallen prey to a graven image of God and the truth of God, and because they worship this man-made image, this carnal image, they are not even trying to see beyond to the transcendent reality of God. It is a basic fact of life that when you accept an image or idea as being “reality,” you no longer question it or seek a higher understanding. Therefore, the idea - even if true - becomes a trap for your mind, as I explain elsewhere.

It is the role of a Christed being to challenge these mental images so that people will realize that there is more to God, more to reality, than the mental images of their current culture. This is what you saw me do 2,000 years ago, and you also saw that the people who were not willing to look beyond their mental images attempted to silence me and eventually nailed me to a cross.

You are right that many people are going through the process of forgiving themselves. The basic fact is that you cannot forgive others until you have forgiven yourself, but you cannot forgive yourself until you have forgiven God. If there was one lesson I would like people to learn from the Bible, it is that the history of humankind can be seen as a process in which people are working out their relationship with God.

As I explained in the answer mentioned above, the original sin was a sense of separation from God. Ever since then, we of the Ascended Host have given many religious and spiritual teachings in an attempt to help people overcome that sense of separation. However, as Mother Mary explains in her discourse on ingratitude, people can come closer to God only when they accept God's forgiveness. However, to accept God's forgiveness, you must first forgive God for creating you, for giving you free will, for allowing you to make mistakes and for exposing those mistakes. Everything in your life revolves around your relationship to God, which is truly your relationship to yourself, meaning your spiritual self, your spiritual source. You are trying to work out the relationship between your individualized consciousness, anchored in your soul, and the source from which that individualized consciousness sprang, meaning God. The Miracle Gratitude Rosary is a powerful tool for helping you make peace with God.

It is true, as you say, that my call to forgive everyone is a call for people to rise above the relative judgments that spring from the carnal mind. It is also true that few people have understood this fact. You are one of them, but you are not the only one, and if you will seek, you will find others. Because you have seen this truth, you do indeed have the potential to become a messenger of this truth and spread it to people. You will indeed find help to spread this message, and if you are willing, you can work with Kim on this in whatever capacity you desire. He is willing to help you, but there are also others whom you will find if you open yourself to the direction I am willing to give you directly in your heart. Simply listen for my direction with an open mind and heart. I recommend the exercise for inner attunement for anyone who wants greater inner direction.

You should always let go and let God, but that does not mean to sink into a passive frame of mind, where you are waiting for some outer source to manifest the perfect solution. Contemplate my statement that my Father works hitherto and I work. Contemplate my parable about the talents. God gives you certain talents, and he does not want you to bury them in the ground, meaning that he does not want you to wait for some outer force or outer condition before you act on your talents.

He wants to start with what you have and multiply what you have been given, and then God will multiply what you bring to the altar. You have indeed been given this insight, and I can tell you that your soul volunteered to come into embodiment precisely to spread this message. I recommend that you study the discourse about the 10,000 people who are ready to manifest Christhood. I also recommended you study and consider where you might fit into this endeavor. You have much to offer this planet, and the key is to seek first the kingdom of Heaven, meaning to seek first the Christ consciousness. Then, all else shall be added unto you in the form of inner direction that will help you see how to make the best possible contribution.

I would recommend that anyone who feels they have a mission in life read The Christ Is Born in You and apply the tools I give in that book. That book was given as the key to unlocking your soul’s potential, so that you can fulfill your spiritual mission.

NOTE: After this answer was given, a very detailed and profound teaching on this topic was given in Maitreya's book.
